Wow, Liverpool look like they're going to Wembley again. I wonder if the white suits are on order. Suarez's face on the lining, obviously.

Have RAWK got a forty page thread filled with teary eyed pseudo-intellectual poetry dedicated to their heroic game raisers yet?
First person to quote a rawktard pointing out that our recent run of titles began with a league cup win, ought to get a prize.

They live in the moment. They are the greatest team in the world tonight. All sins are forgiven and Kenny's doing a great job. Also, man for man, they are back to being better than us again.

I dont even need to look at RAWK to know that this is what they're saying right now.

Just had a quick look and, as expected, Kenny is king again. Such boom and bust supporters. Apparently Dalglish's criticism of the team is what did it. However, a few actually realise that this is what Liverpool have been doing for 20 years. I expect they'll be banned soon.

Just one of many in there after match thread , since when did the Carling Cup become so important.

Now, win the damned thing, and make Suarez the Captain so the FA have to hand him the trophy
I know it's not that likely, but handing him a loser's medal would surely be more appropriate.

Winners don't do racist remarks.

It's like role reversal from the 70's and 80's.

They generally play shit but win the odd cup whilst dreaming of by gone days.

We win the league.
Bill Shankly pointing to the league title trophy : “This is our bread and butter".

Warsaw...that's too far away from Edinburgh...
I don't get it?

We're a mindless **** with Kenny as our omnipotent dear leader. Something like that.
That Simpsons one is fecking shite.

A fraud? Got a list of honours that'd shame most, as both a player and manager. The fella is a legend, and our manager, for more than just football reasons.
I agree with Jimmy and Mcphisto it's double fecking shite and double disrespectful and before you tell me to chill out...feck off!

God their an emotional lot.

Perfect result last night as far as I'm concerned. They'll win the CC, leave Kenny at the helm and continue the sort of mediocrity they've shown.

Yep. Exactly what I thought. Rafa continues to get good feelings for the UCL to this day.

The CC should be worth atleast a couple of years. Especially since its "the king".

Magical Manchester United.
It's typical Liverpool these days. Go through against City, wouldn't be surprised to see them beat us on the weekend and then turned to crap again when they play Wolves in the league next.
They'll most likely finish sixth in the league. Champions League? Not a chance in hell. We're so far ahead of them overall it's not even funny anymore.

Exactly. Liverpool as a Carling Cup team - it seems about right.

Them winning a trophy, no matter how minor it is is probably the worst thing the scouse owners could've hoped for.

I think Dalglish will step down at the end of the season even if they win the CC. He looks tired and emotional.

It´s the inevitable "Bring Back Benitez!" campaign that will follow that will be trouble for the owners.

I said at the time I thought Dalglish had been out of the management game too long to come in and make a massive difference to Liverpool's fortunes.

I stand by that. A legend of the club he may be but if anyone thinks he'll return the filth back to their glory days they're off the mark for me.

Well, you know a CC win will be spun into a 'Kenny achieved the impossible against all odds with a rubbish squad' kind of story, and will live off that for the foreseeable future.

Sounds like a redcafe meltdown, not a RAWK one. And you lot are already making excuses for the weekend(game raisers, league is bigger,ect...).
Like I've said before ,this thread should be moved to the united part of the forum. Only united supporters post in it anyway except for us once in a while. Or at least rename the thread - Our Liverpool Obsession..

Good idea for next season's one.
For sure, we will always be interested in the fortunes of your club.
Anyone who lived through the '70's and '80's as a United fan cannot not glory in the turn around the last 2 decades have brought.

We were a good cup team and game-raisers against your lot once upon a time.
