While it doesn't look good, it would have looked 10 times better had they given it cuffs - provided the collar and cuffs were actually white, like they're meant to be.
Apparently it has cuff details when rolled up, like last years.

Didn't understand the point of those last year, and still don't. Totally bizarre idea.
I suppose it caters for those who want a cuff as well as those who don't. If you like the cuff roll it up, if you don't, then don't. I'm not saying it was a great idea but I can see where they're coming from.

Worst kit we've had in a long time, the one with the chevron was better than this ffs. This current season away kit was bad at first but it got better the more I saw it, but I just can't see that happening with this one. When does our sponsorship with Nike end so we can get new sponsors like Adidas who make quality kits (more often than not)?

I know what you mean, but if you're going to have a collar surely you have to have the matching cuffs with a football shirt? It just looks silly and kind of bare IMO.

You can use it as a tablecloth and when you've finished your meal you can play some Subbuteo on it. Things are looking up!

It also benefits massively from not having a black collar. Much like everything does...

But last years did have the matching cuffs when you rolled it up. This years will be the same I assume.

Read this thread for an example, some people want cuffs the same as the collar, some don't. This way both are happy, no?

When will the away be released?

I don't like the home one that much but the keeper one is alright I think. The home one isn't a disaster, just a step down from this season.

Amidst squeaky bums.
Interesting to see we have our own Nike keeper template this year, it seems.

On another note, anyone noticed the poor photoshopping on the images on the site homepage? Shocking stuff really.

Yeah, it's bloody awful stuff. Must have got Wazza himself to do it.

We had diphtheria, cholera and TB in Manchester back in the 1870s. I trust Nike will be commemorating that with a mucous coloured away kit next year...

The pic is so photoshopped though, who knows how close that is to how it will look. That one pic of Rio looks like the only one that's actually a player really wearing the shirt and it looks much shinier but with a lighter gingham pattern.

Is the crest just printed on now? Not even a badge sewn on?
They are on the players shirts. All the Nike shirts from this season have printed crests on the player's versions. The replica will be the same as on this year's - a stitched on patch.

I'm assuming this is so that De Gea blends in with the pitch, so opposition strikers shoot into what they think is an empty goal, and De Gea clutches the shots out of thin air, all Invisible Man stylie.
I like the green or grey keeper kit for that reason, it's harder to pick them up in your peripheral vision as an attacker. VDS was fantastic in green.

Alright, I've been given permission to post this - it's a mock-up of the away kit. Bear in mind, I've only seen a photo of (most of) the shirt, so the shorts and socks are guesswork:

Better than anything else we've got to wear next season.
