He's going to turn it around, lads. Keep the faith.

The stubborn feck will crack someone's skull in a dressing-room brawl before he'll be forced to admit he's in over his head at Old Trafford.

Strange timing?

Not bad. We defend well, looking fairly cohesive. Arsenal don't look like they're after blood. Bit more precision is needed, though - too many passes gone astray needlessly.

Scousers trailing Fulham too - could turn into a decent night, knock on wood.

The pressing has been excellent.
Just like arsenal at home.

We've done fine. I think this game is perfect for Moyes. If we score it's hard to see arsenal getting back. Their confidence looks completely shot after last weekend.

We're hardly playing a 4-4-2 in any proper sense tonight either. Mata doesn't look much like a line hugging winger to me.

I'm not anti Scottish, I just wanted Moyes out.
This is what I expected, Moyes knows how to set up a team to defend against teams that will have the initiative and attack, we also did this quite well against City and Chelsea, he's used to this from his Everton days, what he doesn't know how to do is attack, what to do when other teams are defending against us that's when all he does is spread wide and cross and if by chance he goes ahead then he just goes back to defending again.

Fulham looking like they could pull off a shock win home to Liverpool....fingers crossed.....Moyes decision to not offer Mulensteen a job is beggining to look like yet another one of his monstor howlers

The BT 'manager cam' clearly showed him urging us forward at the end, I really don't think he intends to be as conservative as we are at times. Right at the end, he looked incredulous that we didn't make more of the late Rooney attack and spread his arms and shouted something when we started going backwards.

I was about to say.

We had that one last chance - 30 seconds left, all or nothing. Moyes egging the team forward - and we fecking turn around and pass the ball back in our half.

I question whether the blame should be on Moyes - the players this season have been fools sometimes.

Yeah, I'm really not sure he wanted us to be so defensive. Despite me bemoaning that BT manager cam, it was interesting to see how frustrated when he was we backed off from our attack.

Was that last 20 seconds a prelude to the new United under Moyes? What the feck was that?

Maybe he was yelling to calm down - or pointing to the corners. Still we didnt do enough to win the game today and that for me has been his tell tell sign all season, would rather not lose games then win them

Even though that wasn't an awful result that puts his future in doubt, it certainly didn't help either. More points dropped, although if we'd be in our usual position we'd probably not be too unhappy with a result like that even if it was scoreless.

Defensively excellent tonight. Great pressing in the first half. The attacking phase of play still needs work.

His first priority was to prevent a spanking which worked well. We looked solid. He now needs to find a way to bring the best out of Mata. Nothing to complain about today

That must be why he's regularly taken off a fullback for a winger when chasing a result

One good thing about Moyes is the goalkeeping department. Rest is shite.

Tactically spot on but his subs were off the mark I think.

Adnan was a good addition, Rio was forced, but I thought Fellaini should have come on instead of Young. We were playing long balls, what's Young going to do with them. Fellaini could have controlled them, knocked them down for Rooney and Co.

He was willing them forward, telling them to press and we sit back, and when we got the ball near the box our imaginative midfield players played it back... he looked as frustrated as us.

United played well tonight. Organised in defence, decent in possession and with a threat on the counter attack.

Don't really see why Moyes is being criticised for attacking intent. We tried to get forward and counter all game and it's only the last 30 seconds which was a passed up opportunity.

RVP was unlucky with that header in the last 10 minutes. Very good save.

Only thing that disappointed me was Janujaz and Young did not really contribute the way Mata and Valencia did before them.

That's a vastly improved performance on anything this year and bodes well for the Champions League.

He could've possibly shown more ambition in the last 20.

But ultimately the damage to our season hasn't been through matches like today. But more against the crap opponents.

Editing my own posts.
You have to admire his courageous steadfast dedication to making sure we never have all our best players on the pitch at the same time.

It's a bold, unique trait in a manager.
