Yeah, we've been terrible in every area of the pitch so far this season (Spurs game aside). Some serious questions need to be answered, and Rodgers can get fecked if he refuses to accept responsibility for our defensive problems again.

Ha, you just beat me to it. Said that before too, there's no evidence of any training ground work on defence, everyone does there own thing instead of defending as a unit. So depressing.

Can't wait until Utd play Liverpool this season, our attack will murder that defence. Liverpool aren't anything special without Suarez, outside of Sterling they're a very average team.

I look at their teamsheet and see a lot of average. I look on their bench. More average.
I think it is a bit of both. I don't particularly rate any of the centrebacks but all defenders can be coached to look better in a system that protects them more. Rodgers is either unwilling or unable to spend as much time as he needs to on his defence and I can't imagine the reduced time they'll have in between matches this season compared to last will help.
Seen nothing from them to worry about.. if we don't get top four ahead of this lot then it will be an ultimate disaster.

Any defence we offer will be better than what Skrtel, Lovren and Sakho can at the moment. Game was over after 10 minutes, just watched the rest of the game to see if Lallana and Lambert would look any better. Lallana is definitely getting here, Lambert is done. Much like a 50 year old Gerrard.

He was truly, truly woeful. Borini was shockingly poor and Gerrard made Borini look like a footballer.
