isn't he the guy who was amazing in Greece and wasn't allowed to move out?
Yeah, player of the century for Greece too. Incredibly stupid and arrogant, I read some of his interviews in Russian (he was born in ussr if I'm not mistaken). Signed some ridiculous deal where the club could've prolonged the contract to 9 or 10 years without asking him. Very, very talented.

@Skizzo what happens if one pick is successful, but the other isn't. Do I have to draft somebody from the same team and year as the guy that was unsuccessful, or can I move to another player?

The likelihood of another player in the same team matching the criterion is low, I'd say. So, I would assume you can indeed move on to another team/year.

You certainly can't be forced to pick any other player from the unsuccessful bloke's team, as that would contradict the basic criterion.

Again I've rushed myself into the pick and should've thought better. Well, what's done is done.

You can move on to another team or player that matches the criteria. With one successful pick, you just can't change your original step 1 player.

I'm willing to help MJJ out again if he is going to miss the deadline - but I do have a meeting to attend soon and I haven't really read the criteria in great depths. How far away is the deadline?

Just wanting to make sure, we need to send both Step 1 and Step 2 in the same conversation, right?

Deadline is about 7.5 hrs from now.

Cheers. I've started researching, but if MJJ makes it back by then, please have his pick over mine. His team of sheep makes things really difficult :(

If we pick a player that is already drafted, what happens to that team? Do we need to swap them for a player too?

EDIT: I must have mistaken the criteria. So in result to this, we will be receiving two players, not 3. If I select a blocked play for step one, that is not part of my pick, he is just used as a reference. Is that correct?

No problems at all! I will leave the next pick to you then! It's seriously much harder than I thought (this round anyway). I hope Bebeto doesn't screw up too much of your plans!

 I dont have any plan right now so it doesnt mess them up anyway. Need to think what team I can play and then upgrade. This round could be a game changer in that sense.
