Felipe Anderson

Isn't he another winger? Doesn't make sense with Memphis now signed.

Not reliable reports though. GdS got a lot wrong last summer regarding Vidal.

TBH we we're obv in for Vidal, and we pulled out. Saying that though I don't see us paying that kind of money for this lad

Can play as a winger(both sides) and striker.
I think that's the type of second choice forward we should target - a versatile dynamic option once we bin Falcao and RvP, but how good is he up there?

Been great this season after a poor one last where he was very underwhelming. €50m figure branded about in Italian press is way over the odds for him though.

He'd be a better option than Firmino (who I really rate but is more of an AM/SS than a winger). Can't say I know much about Anderson though, does he play narrow or wide and is he better on the left or right?

Brazillian names are getting shit now, can't have names like Anderson, Fred, Bernard & Jo!!!

As an out and out striker in our system, I think he will be quite poor. He needs space to run into, is very good as a winger but a bit wasteful with his decision making. Ideally should be going for dybala's fee, has been in monstrous form for 2015 but wasnt really great before that so there is that risk as well.

Absolutely rapid when he hits his stride. That acceleration

He looks pretty handy judging from the video but 50m Euros seems like it might just be a tad excessive.

Reminds me of Hazard. Feels like he's a mix between Eden and Nani.

No need for another winger. We have already Depay. If we can get Bale for a decent fee, then do it, otherwise no need for another one, who just increase the numbers.

I'd imagine he's an option if the Bale crazyness doesn't happen and Di Maria leaves, but €50M is ridiculous.

I hope it ends, I'd rather sign him than Bale. This will only happen if one of di Maria, Young or Mata leaves though.

Yeah, you'd imagine someone would have to be moved on if another wide player was added.

I've only seen him a small amount but I suspect he's currently better than Memphis who obviously wouldnt have scored half as many goals in Serie A. Having said that we wouldnt seem to need another winger

Having said that Cuadrado was the best winger in the league till he moved to Chelsea and he's yet to do anything

Ander-son, -son, -son
That's Felipe, not Fatty
Ander-son,-son,-son
Can he play the full ninety?
To the left, to the right
Not knackered after a run
He better not be as shite
As the other f*cking one

Based on what?

El Shaarawy, a like for like player to Memphis at an almost identical stage of his career bagged 16 goals for his Milan a couple of seasons ago. And out of the two, I'd say Memphis is the more talented one, although only just.

On Felipe, I'd agree that we probably don't need Another winger although we could do with an upgrade in that department. Mata blows hot and Cold, as does Di maria and we don't really know where the two of them will end up eventually, positionally that is. Young is coming of age and shouldn't be relied on IMO as his ceiling isn't high enough and Nani could very well be a goner in the summer.

Cuadrado might have been the best winger in the League, but wingers aren't as big a part of Italian football culture as they are in other cultures around europe and therefore the competition for that title wouldn't be as high.

The times I've watched him he reminds me of Sanchez in his last year at Udinese but I haven't seen enough to make a proper judgement, the quoted fee of 50 million euros seems bizarre though.

Based on the quality of defending in Serie A being a lot better than in the netherlands. Every season players are scoring left right and centre over there, in Serie A the goals are usually slightly less than any other league

Had a terrific game last night against Juventus.I guess worth the hype.

i thought he was average really.

The game was really hard fought in the middle, a dirty one, with not much space to run, so Anderson was never able to do his game until late on the second half when both teams slowed down a bit. Still, never really a big worry. Candreva the standout Lazio player for me.

If Cuadrado is having trouble with the tight spaces given in the premier, i can see Felipe Anderson having trouble as well. We should aim a bit higher imo.

Great season though...
