Clubs on tour always encourage some odd photos, I am sure there are many from a United tour too.
Wasn't there one of Anderson and a massive snake once? Classic caption material.

He really is such a bellend. "I'm not here to talk about speculation" or similar would have been a better response. I can't even work out if he's trying to be coy, humourous or angry. He's socially awkward penguin brought to life.

That clip there is just cringe worthy, he could respond to that question a million better ways. A typical "We don't discuss rumours" or something like that would have done. Socially awkward penguin is about right.

Sam Squiers (lady interviewing Rodgers) deserved better treatment than what she got from Rodgers after the game. As Pexbo said, "I'm not here to talk about speculation" would have sufficed.

nothing screams siege mentality like being surly to a female reporter. She even gave him a second bite to redeem himself, but alas...no

Maybe Brendan's worried that the deal might get hijacked?

Nobody is dumb enough to even attempt to hijack that transfer, shows just how deluded poor Brentan is if he really things another club will pay over £30million for him.

It's shit or bust for Rodgers this season. If, by Crimbo, the dippers are not up there in the top four, he'll get his P45.
Disagree.

Yeah, this season is a deal breaker, but being in top 4 over the Christmas period won't determine whether or not he gets fired. He'll get the entire season.

If he is in the bottom half for the table around Christmas he wont be lasting long.

Well of course, but I don't expect it to happen. It might, I'm not rulling it out, but I doubt it.

We need to start throwing stuff at Klopp. Money, ideally.

With all the new players, new coaching staff, the loss of Slippy G and the effect that had on moral, Brentans delusional and the fixture list the "random" fixtures computer threw up, it could be a very difficult season for Pool.

Was extremely awkward watching that. He should have handled it better, was clearly not prepared for the question.
Not really, it was a stupid question. He must be sick of people asking him about a player who as yet is still at another club.

I would have been more abrupt and told her to do one.

She also how asked Ibe how it feels to be Sterling's replacement!?

LvG gets asked every press conference or interview about de Gea and Ramos but doesn't answer like that.

He is respectful and gives a professional answer, because he is a professional.

Rodgers is trying to be funny/clever but comes across as a little child answering back to his mum.

I've seen Liverpool supporters everywhere condoning (if not flat-out celebrating) this response by Rodgers. It doesn't do you lot any favours. He was a cock to her, end of story.

"I would have been more abrupt and told her to do one."

Quite the calibre of supporter.

He gave her a reply, yes on the blunt side, but she then persisted by asking the same question again.

If it had been Wenger, Mourinho or anyone else it wouldn't even be discussed.
If it had been Van Gaal it would be greeted on here with numerous.....

The idea of the question wasn't stupid, the way she worded it was though I agree. Although he was a bit blunt and odd about it. Like others have said, a better prepared answer would have been more effective.

Then you would have been rightly criticized for being an unpleasant and unprofessional person.

It's stupid and useless to invent fictitious scenarios to try to make him look like less of a cock.

Any stick to beat Rodgers with. Him nearly winning the league two years ago has gotten right under Utd fans' skins, they just don't realise (or don't want to admit) how much. Personally I'd be more worried about Rodgers if Utd fans actually liked him (like they did Woy).
