Kenedy, Begovic, Nathan...Chelsea have spent £73 million this summer? Apart from Pedro and Baba (total about £35 mil) I can't think of any other big ones. Who am i forgetting?

So Real went after one of ours and he says they don't. And we went after one of Bayern's and got him. Bizarre twit there.Umm, who does De Gea play for again?
A couple yeah, £70-odd million is probably about right, thinking about it.Kenedy, Nathan as well.
Any other young players you signed to loan out ?
He contradicted himself there me thinks. Who did Ronaldo play for, who did RVN play for, who did Beckham play for. Aye Real never go after our players.Umm, who does De Gea play for again?
Madrid have never made a bid for any Untied players from what I remember.Tweet

Exactly. That is what really grates me about this lowest-hanging-fruit narrative that we're a laughing stock. Real had player on plate for them if they only met the asking price in a timely manner. Maybe they're the ones who need to be more realistic in the future.Umm, who does De Gea play for again?
In his world Kroos, Thiago, Xabi Alonso, etc, don't exist?Tweet

Robben, Schweign, De Gea to mention a few more.In his world Kroos, Thiago, Xabi Alonso, etc, don't exist?
Those guys were available. We went after, supposedly, Muller, Bale, Neymar etc.In his world Kroos, Thiago, Xabi Alonso, etc, don't exist?
I think he's referring to Neymar? But that was BS. As for Ramos, we'll never know but Madrid set a price and we didn't match it. The guy clearly don't know what he's talking about.Tbf, he has somewhat of a point.
We should be looking to bully the 2nd tier of clubs instead. Dortmund for reus, or Atletico for Griezmann etc.. instead.
Anyway, we did get Schweiny from Bayern.
I agree with this, I know the Spanish two do it to our big clubs but they are in the strongest position in world football.Tweet

Can't tell if you actually meant "tweet." But both work!So Real went after one of ours and he says they don't. And we went after one of Bayern's and got him. Bizarre twit there.
But Schweinsteiger doesn't count because we signed him, right? Those guys were available. We went after, supposedly, Muller, Bale, Neymar etc.
I assume that's what he meant
Yep, you can imagine the likes of Arsenal, United and even Chelsea would be in the market for a new striker in the next window or 2. Also the small matter of the Euros in the summer which he has a chance of being part of, albeit a very slim oneWhat an utter child. A lot of the problem with British youngsters in the mentality and that's not something that will change regardless of what the FA tries to implement.
The thing I don't get about this bloke is if he put his head down and had a couple of good 15+ goal seasons at West Brom, he'd be getting interest from teams much better than Spurs.
Aston Villa in meltdown! Sherwood furious over transfer debacle! Agbonlahor caught with granny!Wonder if this will make back page news like it would if it was United?

Don't know why you ppl post this garbage in here. Real bough Toni kroos, Bayern bought Alonso, and barca buy a gunners player every yearTweet

For argument sake, let's say you average a £1m per player (some will be more, some will be less), that's £30m of revenue a year you make plus the money you save having the player off the wage bill for that season.A couple yeah, £70-odd million is probably about right, thinking about it.
We've got about 30 players out on loan, would be interesting to know what sort of income thaty generates.
Imbecile. And yes, I criticized the tweeter, not the tweetTweet

Next season Greizmann and Laporte and we will be sorted.Tbf, he has somewhat of a point.

I came in here to post this..I was convinced this thread was going to reach 1,000 pages, but deadline day proved ultimately anti-climatic.
That seems to be including all of the Sterling money (and some extra from somewhere else). Not sure how Liverpool received £66m. Sterling was £39m after the clause, Lambert £3m, Coates £2m and Borini around £6m? Am I missing something/someone?
