Why do we always have to have a player step over the free kick?
It's been happening for years, though some of our football has been that.Did anyone hear that few seconds when our supporters were screaming 'UNITED!' and the opposition fans replying with 'SHIT!'
Yes, The chant has been around since the 60sDid anyone hear that few seconds when our supporters were screaming 'UNITED!' and the opposition fans replying with 'SHIT!'
Please elaborate. That was like a grandmother freekick.
But we never change it, so in the end it's not even surprising anymore. Again another FK with the same pointless run, Pirlo/Juninho/any decent FK taker rarely needed these dummy runs. It's to stop the defensive line knowing which trajectory the ball will take (in or out swing) creating less organisation in defence.
I don't agree with it though.
Probably to stop him getting in the way of our attacksIs Rooney actually told to drop to the half way line when we are attacking?
Just heard that, ffs what a cnutCommentator's having a great time pronouncing Martial and Rojo.
This happens almost every game I'd say.Did anyone hear that few seconds when our supporters were screaming 'UNITED!' and the opposition fans replying with 'SHIT!'

Martial attracts so many yellows.Another yellow for Palace, now the guy on Martial. I like.
