In general:

Division 1 Clubs

Advantages:
  1. Higher squad value
  2. Stadium expansion
  3. Higher chance of winning (exponential to team's ratings)
Disadvantages:
  1. Higher wages

Division 2 Clubs and Lower
Advantages:
  1. Lower wages (although some Division 2 clubs are carrying high wages too)
Disadvantages:
  1. Lower squad value
  2. No stadium expansion
  3. Lower chance of winning (exponential to team's ratings)
  4. Player's valuation based on tier-system means less money to make from trading risers

So, by implementing higher economy, we will solve Division 1 clubs' issue for not able to maintain high wages bill. At the same time, the above issues faced by lower division clubs will not go away

So, what can lower division clubs do if higher economy is implemented?

Buy higher rated players (even if they are over 30 years old), at the expense of higher wages, hoping to buy their way out to winning, and promote to Div 1 as soon as possible

Aurier increases. Thought it'd go either way after he didn't play much of late.

Verratti's now 93 rated so likely to be higher rated than Pogba for the foreseeable future.

Italy now being reviewed. Pogba's my only Italian player so boring review. Digne plays for Roma but he's on loan from PSG so will have been reviewed with PSG.

I actually thought umtiti would rise today :(
Rule #1: Soccerwiki are useless douchebags.

All my plans relied on Fabinho getting to 89 (which he deserved) instead Silva got it. The rating system is a complete joke. I hate this fecking game so much now.

Same here. I was hoping umtiti would rise to 89 and cover for Sandro. Hasn't risen for 2 years now during which he has become the mainstay of the OL team. Incredibly shit. Fabinho is the same, should have gotten his 89 ages back. All it will take is for them to transfer to a more well known club and wankers will give them a 90 straight up like they do with players. Remember vidal getting a +2 just for his transfer to barca being announced.

Verratti isn't even the player getting all the plaudits for PSG this season, that would be Matuidi and yet he gets the fecking rise. It's all just the flashy Fifa names that gets the rating increases over and over again. This is why having people vote on who to rise is retarded and broken.

This is a post I made about Soccerwiki using Fabinho as an example. I'm sure their are loads more of examples tbh. But this was the first one I came across.

Also another case, this time at Monaco. Let me highlight again how broken Soccerwiki is:

At the start of 2014/15 Season:

Fabinho - 85 rated
Silva - 80 rated

Stats from the start of 2014/2015 Season to today:

* Please note this includes League and European games.

Fabinho: 88 Rated
Games: 74
Minutes: 6142
Min %: 92.2%
Goals: 4
Assists: 4

Silva: 89 Rated
Games: 74
Minutes: 4150
Min %: 62.3%
Goals: 12
Assists: 4

So in this time Silva has gone up 9 ratings while Fabinho has risen up 3 ratings. Fabinho has been a permanent first team having played an impressive 92.2% of games, also managing to contribute 4 goals and 4 assists. Silva has an impressive amount of goals but has significantly less minutes yet he is now above Fabinho in the ratings! This example demonstrates everything that is wrong about Soccerwiki. If a player scores goals then people will jump on Soccerwiki and press the rating up button. If a player is a defender and doesn't score goal that won't happen. Fact is that if a player is a permanent member of the first team they should be getting rating priority over a squad player.

This is why it's a struggle to find good defenders at decent ratings. Soccerwiki keep missing them.

So Ligue 1 Finished and here's the top risers. Only 6 players have risen past 88. Aurier, Trapp, Lopes and Bats are fair rises. Silva and Verratti are shambles. They did at least give lots of rating deductions which is something they haven't done much before. Another poor Ligue 1 update in general though.

+ 1 ¦ M.VERRATTI (23/93)
+ 1 ¦ S.AURIER (22/90)
+ 1 ¦ B.SILVA (21/89)
+ 1 ¦ K.TRAPP (25/89)
- 1 ¦ R.MAVUBA (31/89)
+ 1 ¦ A.LOPES (25/89)
- 1 ¦ C.CARRASSO (33/88)
- 1 ¦ F.BALMONT (35/88)

+ 1 ¦ M.BATSHUAYI (22/88)
- 1 ¦ M.BAŠA (32/88)
- 1 ¦ Y.GOURCUFF (29/88)

Good point well made. It's a moronic system.

Looks like they're doing the same with Italy.

So here's Verratti and Matuidis stats for PSG, red figures are with Internationals added. Anyone care to explain how Verratti got a + 1 to 93 over Matuidi?

Verratti: 93 Rated (just got a + 1 to 93)
Games: 24 / 30
Minutes: 1073 / 1331
Min %: 49.7% / 49.3%
Goals: 0 / 0
Assists: 3 / 4

Matuidi: 92 Rated
Games: 24 / 30
Minutes: 1590 / 2009
Min %: 73.6% / 74.4%
Goals: 3 / 5
Assists: 4 / 5
