Dude, we had just lost to Norwich which was completely out of the blue.
Most fans are going to be pissed off.
He was merely venting.
In fairness, Januzaj is out on loan, so we can still recall him at any time.
RVP was no longer reliable (injured all the time, which effected his form).
I changed my vote from sacking him in the summer to sacking him immediately.

If we don't hear anything between now and the end of Monday then I think it will be clear that he'll get a last chance or two - which is wrong and pointless in my opinion.

LVG fell on his sword in the post match yesterday, it's an old trick of his that he played at Bayern before he went crazy. I don't expect a decision before Xmas but if there is no change after Chelski and Stoke games I think he will be sacked.

His own stubbornness and refusal to adapt has basically cost him being a much better manager then he is.
He's just not a very good manager in 2015, regardless of ow great he was back in 1995. The game has moved on, and left him behind.
Thats why he needs to go, because nothing is going to change. Keeping him at this point, is just stupid blind faith, with no actual logic behind the decision.

Remember with Mourinho it was quite a few days after the loss to Leicester that he was sacked.
IIRC, a change of manager can affect the share price so they wait until the NYSE is open to announce it.

It would be good if it was announced that him and the club have parted ways in a mutual agreement. Then again he won't want to resign for contractual purposes so we all know he will be sacked if he does leave before his contract runs out.

Oddly I don't remember such videos with Moyes, despite results being much worse, and us losing about 8 home games under him, including absolute demolitions v City and Liverpool.

Putting aside my personal frustration, I can see the sense in not sacking him at this point. We're all nervous about the next manager to follow Van Gaal, but I doubt the board isn't sounding out the potential candidates now... We need to take stock over Christmas.

I am fine with giving him the chance, and I'll be right behind him and the team so long as we see some signs of improvement. The only way I see that improvement happening is if we sign a couple of quality players this January and the injury crisis comes to an end.
Watching Klopp's Liverpool lose 3.0 after a draw and a loss in previous weeks in the league has put things in perspective for me. What assurance do we have that a new manager will bring instant success? I'd rather we tried to salvage this mess with further spending and that we did some proper planning for the next man to come in (most likely in the summer). Many are talking as though they don't want us to turn things around just so we can get rid of Van Gaal. That's wrong. I've been calling for Van Gaal to go in my constant irritation with recent performances and results, but I now think we should give him the January window, and if the results don't pick up in the next 10 games, then we can sack him and either appoint a caretaker manager or bring in Mourinho (if Pep tells us he's off to City in the summer).

We are now playing uglier duller football than when Moyes had us and thats saying something. The ugliest dullest football I have ever seen from any utd side and that includes the one I watched be relegated a long time ago. Every game I start off optimistic, Norwich being a good example where i thought we looked better but every game ends with the same view that we are so incredibly dull to watch. Absolutely no swagger or verve in our play.
I think if Jose is coming the club will want him in place for Chelsea. He'll probably be in the stands against Stoke to have a look while Giggs is frantically directing players from the touchline. First match against Chelsea at home, bam 3 points.

People said that with Moyes tbf. Although the writing was on the wall for Moyes i seem to remember a fair bit of shock when it came. Many thought we were genuinely stuck with Moyes for X amount of years before the club finally bit the bullet.

It's not the same, you're right. If we are intent on getting rid, it does need to be now. Unless we still think we have a shot for Pep then Mourinho needs to come in asap. Letting Giggs try and guide us to 4th is reckless at best.
