I think it completely depends on the fee for this guy. If we can get him for 25-30m euros, I'd take him and Mane!

I have no idea what kind of a player he is.
Is he going to be another Nani? Talented but inconsistent? Or is he a different kind of player?

We will get both.
If that happens at least the pace problem wil have been solved. If Martial, Anderson and Mane ever start together it would be the fastest fron three in the Pl.

@Kevin 's dream is almost going to be realized.
I am coming around to this crap. At least we will have added another option. I did say earlier in the thread that is was very likely to happen anyway thanks to some logical circumstances coming together.

It's better than getting nobody. And yes, more options with pace even if he is not quite a worldie. We aren't in a position to get the best so it's advisable to get what we can.

Well, it's hard to be happy when you haven't seen a player and noone seems to rate him :)
You can quote me on this in a year's time, he'll be great for us, brilliant player has potential to get even better too!

I hope so, mate. I can't have an opinion either way as I don't really know anything about him. You think he can be top drawer?

Not sure how far he can go, will depend on his attitude but definitely has the ability and potential to be in the top tier of players in the league if he keeps his head down and just gets on with his game.

That's great to hear - if we sign him, of course.

It's always a gamble but hopefully because of everyone's low expectations if he does arrive many will be pleasantly surprised, hope we get this done with Mane too!

Problem with buying both him and mane would be the impact on pereira, januzaj and Wilson

In a season where all three had the biggest chance to make an impact, two were pushed out on loan and the other barely sees minutes. I don't think it's Mane and Anderson that will stop their progress.

I hope we wrap up our transfers fast, though I guess not. Anderson I think, would be a great buy.

He has talent but when I saw them 2 or 3 times early in the year it was noticeable that Candreva was everywhere, getting involved and linking and creating and Felipe Anderson was sort of just chilling until the ball got to him in a spot where he could run at a fullback.

He seems exactly the sort of player van Gaal will bench after 5-10 games with zero chance of ever playing him again in an important game. He will absolutely despise him.

I find it hard to believe LVG would treat a player like that

Memphis and ADM.
Darmain had a good start to the season too, when Shaw was playing opposite. Ever since, he's been an irregular.
Was just wumming. sorry. He seems to do it to the majority of his signings. Even Schneiderlin and Hererra seem to get regularly dropped a lot too regardless of how they play. Fell out with Valdes. Apparently had issues with Rojo. It's a bit mad when you think of it

Even more crazy when you consider the fact that were probably going to let him spend heaps again in this window

Oh, I wish for the days when we had Rooney, Ronaldo and Ruud. City may yet have Sterling, Silva and Sane
That'd be ace but I think Silva's very slowly declining, hasn't been his usual excellent self this year and he's nearly thirty, with a bit of luck they'll move him on in the next few windows!

They will replace him with Isco

That'd be okay with me, Isco has flashes of brilliance but is far too inconsistent to ever be a top player, isn't effective in games often enough.

I think recent transfer activity has put the majority of he caf off singing Anderson. Maybe this is a good thing. Under Fergie, Moyes or even last year's Van Gaal I bet the majority of the caf would welcome Anderson with open arms.

He really isn't. He is a brilliant player, just ask @Vato . Especially when he is trusted to start regularly, he'll deliver. I'd swap him immediately for Mata or Herrera. Wouldn't surprise me, if Ancelotti goes for him and he ends up at Bayern.
