It's apparently their goodwill as he wanted to join us. Like always. The response is simple really, if Bastian is so damn important why the feck were you so quick to want to be rid of him last summer? Ooooops.

The irony of some people's comments in here seem completely lost on them. So, it's ok to believe the stuff that the media are peddling - which at this time is speculative - but, we have to assume that Bastian has done no wrong, just because, like.......I genuinely can't get my head around this line of thinking. So you're giving him the benefit of the doubt and assuming that Mourinho is ostracising him (and not, for example, Rojo) why, exactly? Because he really really hates blondes?
If he continues to be silent whilst his mates take digs then I don't think it will reflect too well on him, particularly amongst United fans who are currently divided over this. He has really done nothing in a United shirt with last season a write off.You think Bastian will be the one looking silly? Not here to debate who is right and wrong but the reputation Mourinho has will ensure this only looks one way to neutrals.
Prolonged relegation to reserves when it's not a disciplinary issue is regarded as a breach of contract and he will be due a huge compensation. He will get sold. Plus his contract probably does not guarantee any sort of first team playing time, so I think the only legal action he can take is to try and get out of the contract, which fine, we don't want him anymore anyways. Problem solved.
You're comparing your clubs backing of Suarez to erm a new manager not wanting a player (and a whole load of unfounded speculation on top of that)? feck meBit of a difference in status between gotze and Bastian. The mans an impeccable personality and well respected. I cant really criticise UTDs PR department after ours in the Suarez fiasco but it seems you guys are just as bad as us.
Its a dick move and shouldnt have happened. Its one thing exiling a balotelli or gotze to the reserves its another proposition when yoy do it to someone like Basti.
Someone like Basti who purposely put himself outside of the team? He isn't respected at United because he didn't conduct himself in a respectful way.Bit of a difference in status between gotze and Bastian. The mans an impeccable personality and well respected. Rummenigge can't keep his mouth shut. I don't think it's an English league issue. (He certainly doesn't like the money and is one of the people pushing for an European Super league) he just can't keep quiet on issues hat aren't his business. Most Bayern Munich fans i know are criticizing Rummenigge that he must give his opinion about every football topic and they can't wait so see Hoeness back as Bayern Munich boss......Rummenigge is a twat.
He has talked about Draxler in a bad way too after yesterdays match against Real Madrid.
It's clear why Rummenigge talks bad about clubs like Manchester United.....he has worried about the english money.
Now this is just fecking golden.Bit of a difference in status between gotze and Bastian. The mans an impeccable personality and well respected. I cant really criticise UTDs PR department after ours in the Suarez fiasco but it seems you guys are just as bad as us.

Nah mate. Openly supporting a racist is the exact same as a new manager wanting to get rid of a player that he doesn't want. Get with the times. Now this is just fecking golden.
It's people like Wumminator's fault by the way.
I have no idea why Mourinho is doing anything. But I've said before, that I find it hard to believe that someone always known as a great professional like Basti, would suddenly change. Not saying it isn't possible - am saying I need to see conclusive proof of that happening as it seems improbable. I also have no time for people who snitch on their team mates. If they a problem with him or anyone else - deal with it internally. By going to the press, they lose sympathy from me. Sorry, that's my personal stance on those things.I genuinely can't get my head around this line of thinking. So you're giving him the benefit of the doubt and assuming that Mourinho is ostracising him (and not, for example, Rojo) why, exactly? Because he really really hates blondes?
The two situations are barely comparable.Bit of a difference in status between gotze and Bastian. The mans an impeccable personality and well respected. I cant really criticise UTDs PR department after ours in the Suarez fiasco but it seems you guys are just as bad as us.

Im guessing you didn't know this is standard procedure when a player is not wanted or is about to be transferred? There's no point in these players training with the first team when they won't be part of it.He was more than just "told he wasn't wanted". He's been cast away from training with the squad and his locker reportedly moved.
And people laughed when I posted that José was Hitler...
If you've ever had the press whip up a huge storm because your manager kicked a boot and it hit a player's headYeah pretty much.
If you've ever thought "oh that plane flying over Old Trafford is a good idea"
If you've ever said "he's our cnut"
If you complained when we won titles about "zombie passing"
If you've been involved with wishing Mourinho would come to Old Trafford.
Well this is what you get. People who go to games are getting mocked in here for daring to even hint they might have a different connection to the club.
For years Mourinho has done this. He loves controversy. He feeds off it. This is what we now have to deal with. The people who like this style have currently "won" the club. Short term controversy is what you get when your club is breaking transfer records and has no continuation.
You don't hire Mourinho and complain about over blown controversies. We accept them and hope it's best for the club.
Even if you have a passionate moral objection to Rooney (or whoever) telling the press about slacking team-mates that has no bearing on whether Mourinho's decision is fair. What it does do, though, is provide an obvious and reasonable reason for him to be acting the way he is. Seems a bit strange to ignore it, in the absence of any other plausible explanation.I have no idea why Mourinho is doing anything. But I've said before, that I find it hard to believe that someone always known as a great professional like Basti, would suddenly change. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/36975545Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho should be sent to jail for "bullying" Bastian Schweinsteiger, says a member of world players' union FifPro.
The midfielder, 32, signed a three-year deal in 2015 and played 31 games last term but has trained alone and with the Under-23s since Mourinho took over.
"It's clear bullying," Slovenia FifPro member Dejan Stefanovic told the BBC.
"In Slovenia, we would have indicted Mourinho and asked for the highest penalty - three years in prison."
I hope your version of 'barely' means 'not in the slightest way'.The two situations are barely comparable.
Let's be honest and say it's because you don't like the individuals accused of doing the 'snitching'.I have no idea why Mourinho is doing anything. But I've said before, that I find it hard to believe that someone always known as a great professional like Basti, would suddenly change. In Nazi Germany Mourinho would have been shot. In Medieval times he would have been sent to the crusadesNot sure what its got to do with Stefanovic but Mourinho should be jailed over this apprently

Yes. When LVG became their manager he got rid of Hummels, Podolski, Lucio (his supporters said it was because he's Brazilian) and Luca Toni. Toni and Lucio both left unceremoniously and Podolski demanded a transferGotze says hello.
not sure why the fact hes a german legend has anything to do with United, hes been here 1 season, been in poor form or injured for majority of that time, not in Jose's plans so let him help with the Young players who can then see how a German legend worksTelling a player he is not wanted is fine (Götze). But degrading a German legend to the reserves is another story. Cant people see the difference? Sure Rummenigge is obviously taking a dig and talking a bit bollocks, but there is still a difference between how you handle such situations.
When has that ever happened?Prolonged relegation to the reserves could pose a legal problem if he intends to go down that route.
Hopefully this gets sorted as soon as possible. The club will have to pay him off. Which is only fair. They gave him the contract.
It might do, we don't know - that's what the press infers - that Mourinho got reports from the players about Bastian and has acted using the information given to him by them. That's got nothing to do with Mourinho's treatment of Schweinsteiger though, has it?
Is it? I don't think they're cast away from training with the first team etc. And in your Toni example it wasn't reported that the same treatment was given to him in that regard?Im guessing you didn't know this is standard procedure when a player is not wanted or is about to be transferred? There's no point in these players training with the first team when they won't be part of it.
That's not what the press infers at all. Why would Mourinho rely on the reports from the players anyway? There's a whole bunch of other staff at the club he can talk to.It might do, we don't know - that's what the press infers - that Mourinho got reports from the players about Bastian and has acted using the information given to him by them..
Since when are you being asked to back a "dressing room snitch"? What's being discussed is a decision taken by the manager. As an aside, how do you think the stories leaked about how Schweinsteiger is being treated? Therefore, if I'm asked to believe either party as it stands, I'm not going to back a dressing room snitch over someone who has always showed the opposite behaviour and been very professional - unless I get conclusive proof. I'll reiterate again that I'm not saying Basti's not being a cnut - I'm saying I find it hard to believe based on what's known of his character and his past professionalism.
You're comparing your clubs backing of Suarez to erm a new manager not wanting a player (and a whole load of unfounded speculation on top of that)? feck me
As I've stated, this thread is turning into agenda driven nonsense. Funny how all the rival fans in here are backing Schweinsteiger. Nothing to do with wanting having a pop at Mourinho or our club is it
Someone like Basti who purposely put himself outside of the team? He isn't respected at United because he didn't conduct himself in a respectful way.

Sorry, all the reports I've read in the press has inferred just that. If you've seen something else fine, but I haven't seen one report that infers otherwise. Then again, it could just be the press putting their spin on things - you know how shit they can be.That's not what the press infers at all. Why would Mourinho rely on the reports from the players anyway? There's a whole bunch of other staff at the club he can talk to.
If that's what you've read, then fair enough. I've honestly not read a single article which said that Mourinho's decision was based on a briefing from players in the squad. I may have missed it though.Sorry, all the reports I've read in the press has inferred just that. If you've seen something else fine, but I haven't seen one report that infers otherwise. Anyway, it would be nice to know if Mourinho did a thorough investigation and has not based his actions on just what was said by the players.
Yeah, I added 'barely' to be on the safe side, but it was an obvious WUM that we all bit.I hope your version of 'barely' means 'not in the slightest way'.
No. Valdes was asked to do games with U21, to keep his level up. Valdes didn't want to, and thus was ignored from that point on.Didnt LVG do exactly just this with Valdes?
No worries. I don't read all the newspapers or such as well, so I may have missed something else.If that's what you've read, then fair enough. I've honestly not read a single article which said that Mourinho's decision was based on a briefing from players in the squad. I may have missed it though.
There hasn't been any articles inferring he was told my players. It's yet another conspiracy in the mind of people desperate to attack certain players. If that's what you've read, then fair enough. I've honestly not read a single article which said that Mourinho's decision was based on a briefing from players in the squad. I may have missed it though.
