Slowly but surely he's getting back to his best for us.

Best thing is Mourinho was just about to sub him for Fellaini. Now he gets to play on.. Would have been another mistaken sub.

Can still see him on the bench against Leicester, it seems as certain as Rooney starting every game.

Voted the best city in the world
Just an awesome footballer him and pogba should be 2 in a 3 man midfield
This.

Ander has had some poor performances but I always felt that players like him (Schneiderlin as another example), have always got the short end of the stick with us. 1 or a couple poor performances, they were out. Whilst others get many more opportunities to play themselves into form.

Start him vs Leisester! Hopefully he can finally break into our starting 11. I've doubted him but I'm coming around to the fact he's as positive as it gets aside from Pogba in midfield.

Should be starting. Him, Pogba & Carrick in a midfield 3 looks good on paper.

He made an almost identical pass/clearance against City down the right. Looked lucky but it was a great execution. The boy has to play. It will make me more upset to see him on the bench than Rooney starting.

believer that Sancho will turn it around
Looks like he has his confidence back. I especially liked that when Schneiderlin misplaced the pass to him he encouraged him instead of getting pissed off about it. I think we need somebody with that generally positive attitude in the team right now. Also helps he seems to be back in good form.

Or Schneiderlin for Carrick. Gives us more energy at the back and lets Herrera get box to box with Pogba having a free role
Schneiderlin has been invisible while Carrick has been tremendous this game. We really need his abilities. Herrera-Carrick-Pogba is a great fit imo.

That's yet another good performance from him, surely he displaces Rooney for Saturday, he looks reborn under Jose to be fair. He looks like one who is playing and trying to impress the new manager.

Herrera - Carrick - Pogba is probably our best midfield, but I don't think mourinho will risk it on Saturday just yet. We'll see what he says in the post match interview and pre match conference to come

Herrera needs to start. The midfield should be Pogba, Herrera and Morgan. Give it 5-6 games and i am confident that the team will improve.

He needs to start every game. Players like him and Carrick will give the team creativity. He's been wasted for two years constantly being in and out of the team.

Fair play he's earned a start after that.

Spirit, grit, creativity. Literally the three things we desperately lack at the moment. Play him!

Thing I love the most is his work ethic; he does have off days, but he will always give you 110%.

Him, Pogba and Carrick as a midfield 3 should have a strong look in for sure.

This guy is pure class. Almost ruined his career by joining us when LvG was here. He will be at his peak and we need to make full use of his range of passing. He will give away a lot of balls because he always takes risks and looks to pass forward.

In his last three performances he has been my MOTM and he only started two of those games. If he isn't rewarded with a starting place at the weekend then it is lunacy.

Can anyone of those "he is our most overrated player" people say one reason why he shouldn't get a run in the team?

Would love to see him, Carrick and Pogba given a chance to play together. Might be a bit harsh on Fellaini, who has been one of our better players this season, but I think they'd offer us more balance.

Yeah Fellaini hasn't really done much wrong but it is about finding the best team. Not sure Carrick will start a league game until he gets a few more minutes under his belt.
