You can just sense the British media circling their wagons around their boy. Squeaky bum time indeed. Wonder if the Germans are doing the same for Nico.

No, Germans aren't as hysterical in their chauvinism anyway, but Rosberg is just one of the Germans, he's not the most German one and in general a bit bland. No one really hates him and no one really loves him.

But the main difference is that the Germans try to hold up some standards in journalism, while for example the BBC has become an embarrassment. I've seen 13-year old Belieber girls with soaked panties beeing more objective and realistic about Justin Bieber than this once internationally acclaimed institute about Hamilton. Last week they have outdone themselves, which I thought have been impossible.

At least one of them will be hit by the curse of the Mercedes clutch, just hope Red Bull have the race pace to make it interesting anyway.

I thought there was more than enough space for Vettel to keep the inside line and avoid all of that. Max has to turn at some point, though I'm not excluding him from some blame, just not the lion share at first viewing.

Should be a formality for Lewis from here, surely.

Genuinely felt sympathy for Lewis for one of the few times ever then. Perfect weekend ruined 15 laps from home when he was coasting to victory.

Same

Wow

Sad to see. Don't want this championship decided by things like that.

Still plenty of races to go but Lewis can't afford another one of those and the way his luck has been this season he probably will have another.

Pretty embarrasing for Mercedes to be honest.

Funny listening to Channel 4 hyping this up when it's clearly a formation finish to the end. Ricciardo's deserved a win this year though, pleased for him.

23 point gap. Nico can finish 2nd to Lewis in 3 races and still be top. That's quite a safety cushion at this stage.

Great scenes. Ricciardo is such a top bloke.
