Mfappe must be bought, pure and simple. Give them all the Griezmann money, give them whatever they want.

Never a pen, mates... Kun just takes off before the keeper and then looks for the touch while faling. Malicious at best.

Have they scouted most of these players for peanuts or have they spent a lot to build this team?
Pure scouting. This is a very young team, with a few experienced heads. They sold most of their "stars" over the years and give chances to youth.
Jardim is a very good manager.

I didn't think it was a penalty because Aguero threw himself into the leg of the keeper when he could have easily avoided it and scored.

City

And Jesus yes, it was a dive. He does go down before there is any kind of contact and then he does his utmost to actually touch the keeper. This is the type of shit Young was doing and he was booed everywhere and got booked whenever refs had a chance.
Exactly! So damn true.

Ligue 1 sides battering the best both Spain & England have to offer while consistently producing the best talent in football yet it's a pub League according to this board.

Put £1 on Monaco to win the first half 2-1 at 80/1. Happy with how that's gone.

He dived...It was the correct decision and Sterling's goal was offside...But no-ones mentioning that!
Check the replays, keeper hit his legs clearly, was that you guys at OT there'd be 82000 posts about it, and check the replay Sterling was onside. No doubt Monaco deserve the lead but it was a penalty.

Why the feck did i have to go for a smoke and then missed the first two goals, and later having to go for a smoke to make me miss the third. Feck off.

Monaco are fantastic though.

Neither team can defend but the Monaco attack is lethal, if ever a team was built for Falcao it's this team.

Sorry to possibly ruin the romance but, aren't they really tight with Mendes?

Sign half the Monaco team please. Plus Jardim if Mourinho fails. Mendy, Fabinho, Bakayoko, Mbappe and Silva have really stood out today. Ones for the future.

Commentators are so fecking biased.

This Monaco team  is quality.

@kouroux @Downcast

Am I right in saying/thinking that they've now built a better team after their sugar daddy sort of withdrew his funding (after being hit with a massive divorce settlement) and they sold most of their marquee players? Or have they simply just spent insane amounts on these players as wel?

Edit 2-1
Monaco has one of the top 3 best academies in France: we're talking of the club that launched some players like Thierry Henry, David Trézéguet....Martial, Mbappé, Lémar...

Smart acquisitions in the last seasons: Mendy (Marseille), Bernardo Silva (Portugal), Gilk (Great at the euro with Poland), Fabinho many years ago...

Top academy. Top recruiters. Top coach :)

Can we all stand back and appreciate the monster this Monaco team would be if they kept Martial. We need to get access to their conveyor belt.

The keeper hitting his legs doesn't matter as he was already diving before that.
