Ok in the game overall but counts for little with that miss.

He simply must score and failing to cost us an away win. Furious at him.

Who knows what impact that has.

He takes too much time on the ball. Missed a glorious chance. Misplaced passes. That's what I saw. It was an okayish performance IMHO.
Ran the show with Carrick, showed great strength and skill at times despite two or three men on him. Fantastic passing from deep.

Couldn't boss the game against Anderletch. Getting poorer as the season progresses.
You will get slated for saying something like that on here. But I agree he isn't getting any better. He was ok today but he always is against woeful opposition who give you acres of space on the ball and he still couldn't boss the game. He will be shocking against Chelsea at the weekend as he always is against anyone half decent.

Very average. Lost the ball a few times in the first half. Wasteful and slow with it in the second.

Distinctly average. People reckon he had a 'great' game because he's been so poor lately. He will get better, next season we will see it but he needs to stop the pointless shit and keep it more simple.

You should blame Zlatan as we would have probably won by two or three if he was in half decent form tonight.

He was good today. This being said, still his usual tricks which end up in losing possession. I am not sure where this comes from but any of our players don't execute moves quickly enough. Someone makes a run, the player with the ball doesn't see it or sees it late and it's all gone. The team feels like they play together for the first time and Pogba is showing it brightly.

I have no confidence in him ever finishing a chance. Hopefully that changes.

He was good bar that awful miss.

Thought he was pretty average again

Very frustrating
Exactly this. Not sure which game some of the people were watching if they call rhat a fantastic performance. Was bang average.

His passing was more miss than hit. Overhit or underhit so many passes that I stopped keeping count.

If this is a great performance then no wonder we are languishing in 5th but then these same posters will complain about our position.

He was pretty good today, as he always is against pub sides who give you an age to make decisions on the ball. He still should have converted his chances and made poor decisions in the final third.
I really hope i'm wrong but he will be back to being woeful when we play Chelsea on Sunday. He is never any good against quality opposition.

He was good overall but complicated many plays for absolute no reasons . His finishing must improve . Other than that , good.

Best player on the park, but currently has zero cutting edge.

Carrick arguably better for the last 30.

Much better game.

Can't believe I laughed at Glastonspur for saying he believed alli is better or going to be better 16 months ago when Pogba was still at Juve... he knows his stuff sometimes.

Yes, it has begun already :D. I dont understand what he tries to prove with those flicks and turns, if he tries quick passing then maybe a chance. Takes too much time which allows opposition to take position. He showed nice strength long range passing. But the position he plays at, i think he needs to improve upon short passes and one touch passes.

Brilliant until he missed that chance, then very sloppy. I think the miss was still playing on his mind. A few times this season I've felt as though he needs to be mentally stronger, he doesn't seem to take missed chances very well.

If he performs like he did for 80 minutes, next week. Then we'll go through.

Was a very mixed bag. He did the basics very well and provided that touch of class he always does but routinely stuffed up more difficult passes and missed the chance to win the game at the end. Harsh or not he's expected to do better than that.

People think sitting deep and spraying passes means a players had a good game. Bloody Darren Gibson can do that when given the amount of time and space Pogba had against tonight's opposition.

I don't get people complaining about 90m. It's stupid. First of all, it's exactly fair to judge him based on the fee. Ronaldo was also the most expensive player in the world and there is literally nobody who would argue he was not worth every penny Real paid, probably more. So really top players, are not exactly fazed by fee and they live up to it quite simply.
But even more importantly Pogba is not only NOT playing like a 90m signing, he is not playing as 30-40m, hardly playing as 15-20m one. Whatever benchmark you set, he is fairly below it. Especially as a attacking midfielder. It's not only that miss, that should have made it 0-2, but in quite a lot of situations he had decent chance to create something and he simply did not.

He didn't even spray the passes well today. Overhit so many of them. He dribbles when a simple pass is enough to quicken the game, loses the ball many times because of this very reason, yet people think he is having a good game.

I was absolutely convinced he'd miss when he was put through on goal. His finishing is terrible. He's had a few one on ones this season and he never seems to cleanly hit the ball, he always seems to bobble the ball wide or straight at the keeper.

Did he score many at Juventus?

I missed chunks of the game, but from what I did seen, I wasn't that impressed. He did okay, but controlling the midfield in terms of possession is no big feat again today's opposition. Didn't see us creating many chances either.

No if he genuinely plays well against good opposition I will give him credit. But to date he never has.

I don't give a feck about the price tag, but for one of the first names on the team sheet he's not playing good enough. Quite OK with the basics tonight, frustrating with anything else. Very difficult for me to understand how some call his season 'great'. Bang average, has to improve next year.

He was great today. He did his job well and got an excellent chance to score that I really wish he capitalized on so this thread wouldn't be full of people slating him for the fact that we drew the match. i wonder how people pay their hospital bills with the knee jerking that happens on this forum.

Along with Carrick he was easily the best player on the pitch but as is the case with Pogba, one crucial miss and the narrative of the whole game changes.

Our attackers were incredibly wasteful all game but Pogba will get the blame. Like the man said himself, some aren't happy unless he's a KDB, Kante and Alli hybrid.

I've got no confidence in him or rashford to bury their chances. It is really shocking to be honest, do these guys not practice shooting?

We aren't improving at the minute and players are getting worse, really expect pogba to do more than he did today, just as a top player, never mind the price tag.
