Really happy for Martial. We've some fine young players in our squad. Great to see them playing tonight.

Peirrera has also not looked out of place. Could save us a fortune if he can play at this level.

Pardon? Now having an opinion on a players makes me a "fecking bore"

Do us both a favour in that case and ignore my messages, cause to be frank, I haven't been reading yours.
You are a fecking bore tbh.

A strange first half. A lot of nothing followed by a moment of magic from Martial.

Very few standout performances. Timbo did well against Bale. Lingard made some good runs. Fellaini came into it more as we started using the aerial ball. Nothing special though (besides that Martial run). Martial actually frustrates me because if he only ran away from the player on the ball, instead of towards them, he'd get more chances to get 1v1.

Thought everyone was cautious. Very little vision from midfield. Recycling possession was our default setting. Madrid played the better football, even though they have had no preseason games.

Halftime thoughts:

Players that have impressed me the most: Martial and Jones. Darmian needs to overlap more. We could do with some more creativity in the midfield: Fellaini and Carrick are trying their best but the ball doesn't move too much through the middle. We've had better luck on the wings. Talk of Martial being sold is utter nonsense, he's one of the few players we have that can penetrate a back line.

Don't understand the need for a water break, its not that hot. Pansies, the lot of youse.

Real Madrid fans here are shit. All they've been doing is whistling and chanting "Modric". Waiting for white handkerchiefs to come out.

We just finished roaring through a stanza of "Take me home" when Martial passed the ball to Lingard. You're welcome.

For the Fellaini fan club, very simple question. Would he get into any of the top 4 Premier League Teams? Real or Barca Team? Bayern Team? PSG or Monaco Team?

He wouldn't even come close, he is a mercenary and a black cloud hovering over our club since Moyes signed him. Im not into witch craft but I'm pretty sure as soon as he leaves, the Premier League curse we are under will vanish

He dyed it ginger ages ago

Do us all a favour and stop constantly spouting shit, as per other 10 people who already told you to shut it because you're on a clear agenda.
1. Please don't tell me if I can or can not give an opinion in a open forum, leave that to the Admin.

2. If you read through the messages, I'd say more people are saying Fellaini is awful than saying he is great.

Loved Tony making their defenders look shite. Magical bit of play from the lad.

Positives: TFM, Jones, Bailly, Martial's dribble. Not much more than that for me at least.

What a run! Surrounded by 3 Madrid defenders and absolutely ruined them.

He's so frustrating as he has that magic in his locker, we just need to see it more often.

Nice footwork from Martial, solid defending, but the link up in our play is awful to watch, way too tedious.

Well, I think TFM and Pereira are ready to do a job this season. Not starters yet, but definitely good enough to be 1st team squad members. TFM has been impressive, and he's better in midfield.

Wonderful run from Martial. Hopefully we see more of that and amusing as always to see Lingard scoring. Lovely bit of grit from Fellaini as well to get it to Martial.

Cant stand Madrid but they are brilliant to watch, Modric Kroos and Marcelo in particular.

Jones has looked pretty good.

I was just about to criticise him for always running down blind alleys too. :D

Two cabbages in midfield doesn't help. More mobility to come. Hopefully it will allow Andreas to shine.
