Just seen the score, feck City
FFP is a mirage and all the big clubs know it. It’s FIFA for Christ’s sake, they more corrupt than a Mafia judge. PSG’s and City’s spending cannot be explained by their own past sporting successesThere's this thing called FFP mate, where you can't spend more than you earn. And you can't include bungs from your owners as earnings. Perhaps you've not heard of it?
No. Of course I hope we win but I'm struggling to be too downbeat by their superiority when they're such a good watch. You are taking the piss, right?
Jesus..No. Of course I hope we win but I'm struggling to be too downbeat by their superiority when they're such a good watch.
Reckon they’ll play Qatar Saint Germain in the final of the CLThe best team fossil fuels can buy
I don't understand how you can be a football fan and not appreciate such quality football.I don’t know how you could enjoy watching one of our biggest rivals win all the time. It’s completely bizarre.
Yeah this, what the hell.I don’t know how you could enjoy watching one of our biggest rivals win all the time. It’s completely bizarre.
The mark of a really special manager. If their form continues, this could be one of the best squads ever in our league. It's so incredible that Pep has managed to fix everything that was wrong with City in such a short period of time.
Not sure the ‘transfer targets’ bit alone would close the gap. It’s clear to me that City’s superiority isn’t down to them having individuals that are levels above everyone else. The difference is in the strength of the unit. You watch them and don’t get the impression that your own team would play like that ‘if they just added x or y’. Conversely, you imagine your own ‘not good enough’ players you want replaced will play better if they went there.Think we've got to accept this league is gone.
Tbh I have zero respect for the way City have got their success. With their lottery win, it's like a drug-taking athlete winning the 100 metres on a motorbike. Sure I'm not alone in thinking this.
That said, hopefully it'll act as a spur for the rest of the league to improve. United have to nail their transfer targets this summer and get the players we need. And we can't afford to park the bus anymore, which must be a good thing.
Easily, because they’re a bunch of shithouses.I don't understand how you can be a football fan and not appreciate such quality football.
Agree that the 'best squad ever' is massively premature. How people can say this team is already better than United's treble team is ridiculous. The bitterness is so amusing to read as someone who's learning not to take anything serious anymore
But all this talk of legacy, and "best squad ever", some of you do remember they haven't even dominated for a full season yet, right?
Let's see how City fare when the world goes to green energy.Reckon they’ll play Qatar Saint Germain in the final of the CL
Actually its Uefa and the Premier League have their own too...FFP is a mirage and all the big clubs know it. It’s FIFA for Christ’s sake, they more corrupt than a Mafia judge. PSG’s and City’s spending cannot be explained by their own past sporting successes
Nah, English team in the quarters. I can feel it.Reckon they’ll play Qatar Saint Germain in the final of the CL
Mate players like Gundogan, Aguero and B Silva aren't even guaranteed starters for them! Their squad is miles better. Not sure the ‘transfer targets’ bit alone would close the gap. It’s clear to me that City’s superiority isn’t down to them having individuals that are levels above everyone else. The difference is in the strength of the unit. Don’t forget how they snatched that late goal against moyesIt just feels like everything they’re doing is coming off. They should’ve dropped points in some of their games like against Southampton but the footballing gods are with them at the moment.
So they get disqualifed?Hoping for doping
There is a lot more than 5...We now have five City related threads on the forum. Just saying.
Expecting 2, 3 new ones tonight. We now have five City related threads on the forum. Just saying.
Well they can only have XI on at a time. Their top scorer is Raheem Sterling, who isn’t a world class forward. Fabian Delph is their right back. Otamendi, Mangala and Kompany are their centre halves. Aguero not being a guaranteed starter proves nothing, he’s definitely better than Jesus, so he should be.Mate players like Gundogan, Aguero and B Silva aren't even guaranteed starters for them! We've wasted a fortune in recent years and need to tighten up our act to catch up.
He likes football to a varying degree than you do, not hard to understand. I mean I couldn't do it, but I'm not sure what's so incredulous that someone likes football over United and thus will watch 'good football' no matter where it comes from.I don’t know how you could enjoy watching one of our biggest rivals win all the time. It’s completely bizarre.
I've seen a RAWK Meltdown, Salah, Klopp, Scholes vs Lampard vs Gerrard threads in the past day or so - so that's four Liverpool related threads, who aren't exactly playing at this level. So what exactly is your point? We now have five City related threads on the forum. Just saying.
Agree, it's not incredulous at all. Some people are just bitter it seems. He likes football to a varying degree than you do, not hard to understand. I mean I couldn't do it, but I'm not sure what's so incredulous that someone likes football over United and thus will watch 'good football' no matter where it comes from.
If anyone thinks that, they need to watch more football. Our greatest manager is a living proof of how a unit can be made greater than the sum of it's parts through tactics and great training. Conversely, you imagine your own ‘not good enough’ players you want replaced will play better if they went there.
You also have to consider that a gap MIGHT also open up in terms of individual quality. City will look to sign the world’s best too, and replace those who aren’t, of whom they have plenty. The issue is that those who are not the world’s best are already playing better than everyone else in this team.
Because we're Manchester United fans.I don't understand how you can be a football fan and not appreciate such quality football.
Most people here are United fans first, football fans second. Did you jizz yourself when Suarez and co were lighting it up?I don't understand how you can be a football fan and not appreciate such quality football.
Point is there are too many of them, obviously.I've seen a RAWK Meltdown, Salah, Klopp, Scholes vs Lampard vs Gerrard threads in the past day or so - so that's four Liverpool related threads, who aren't exactly playing at this level. So what exactly is your point?
Of course United will discuss their main rivals more than other teams generally.
Just a 52 point drop would be good with me Would still win the league though. So they get disqualifed?
