If he does end up here it'll be interesting with regard to City's tactics. Are the board getting a bit complacent? I mean you could understand letting this one go with Jesus back so soon and already having stacks of talent in positions, but like the Alves transfer, it felt like City sort of had it in the bag.
Also wonder on the future ramifications. Does Aguero stay long term, or is the relationship between him and Pep just one that'll never gel? Will they go for an alternative to Alexis? I.E. another attacker who can play at the highest level across all 4 spots -- A Griezmann, a Dybala, a Fekir?
From what i heard pal Alves was done the night before he went to PSG, photo shoot and interviews ready. Again head turned late in the day. What can you do.
We've obviously thrown money around the last 8 years and been royally rinsed. Now we seem to be run a lot better and can walk away from deals. The agents fees seem to be a sticking point too on how we do business. They are parasites but unfortunately they are looking for maximum money out of any deal.
No idea on Sergio. Tbh i think we've done pretty well to keep him this long. If we can get two more years out of him I'll be happy.
Oh and I'd take Dybala all day long.
Back to Sanchez again, i think he's more than likely to go to you guys. But from hearing little tippits of info. If Pep really did want him Soriano could buckle and give in. Not sure he will though.
