I just find it bizarre how everyone wants to make the transfer fee sound as huge as possible.

It's a £30m transfer fee, plus apparently a £10m agent fee, which is a steal as Sanchez is probably worth £80m if it wasn't for his Contract situation.
Exactly, we're getting ourselves a class deal.

If we actually sign him, Woody would probably not believe his luck. Top class highly marketable player for £30 million? Expecting a few more noodles partners in South America soon :D

I never feel sorry for our rivals.
I want to crush them. Especially MCFC and Pep Guardiola.
Words cannot describe how badly I want us to beat that team. But generally, I want us to beat every team we play. No mercy and no remorse.
Absofeckinglutely!

If Ornstein comes out soon and says it's on ....then the deal is basically done.

That bloke is god-tier for Arsenal. He's even above Di Marzio for their news.

We need a BBC update now.

I think it is a good way of doing it. Total cost.
I get the logic of course, but then all transfers need to be reported as total costs. It's just the media trying to make out that United spent say over £80m on Sanchez, yet they report the VVD fee as £75m with no wages.

If he does end up here it'll be interesting with regard to City's tactics. Are the board getting a bit complacent? I mean you could understand letting this one go with Jesus back so soon and already having stacks of talent in positions, but like the Alves transfer, it felt like City sort of had it in the bag.

Also wonder on the future ramifications. Does Aguero stay long term, or is the relationship between him and Pep just one that'll never gel? Will they go for an alternative to Alexis? I.E. another attacker who can play at the highest level across all 4 spots -- A Griezmann, a Dybala, a Fekir?
From what i heard pal Alves was done the night before he went to PSG, photo shoot and interviews ready. Again head turned late in the day. What can you do.

We've obviously thrown money around the last 8 years and been royally rinsed. Now we seem to be run a lot better and can walk away from deals. The agents fees seem to be a sticking point too on how we do business. They are parasites but unfortunately they are looking for maximum money out of any deal.

No idea on Sergio. Tbh i think we've done pretty well to keep him this long. If we can get two more years out of him I'll be happy.

Oh and I'd take Dybala all day long.

Back to Sanchez again, i think he's more than likely to go to you guys. But from hearing little tippits of info. If Pep really did want him Soriano could buckle and give in. Not sure he will though.

Sanchez is definitely on a plane; his whole bloody family came to visit! Private jets are nothing for footballers to hire.

These “late swoop” tactics has Mourinho’s fingerprints all over it. Let another club do the dirty work of unsettling a player, and then strike when the iron is hot. I’m bought in. It’s us, he’s ours I think.
Well, Mourinho did admit to being a lazy sod so.

Getting 30 million+ for Alexis would be excellent business, have to credit the club if the figure is true.
From Arsenal Mania...

No no no it's really not excellent. You're really fecked up badly and now selling a player to your rival that could have been sold for 100 million plus in todays market. It's a raw deal.

Nothing will be announced until after the Arsenal match today at the earliest. Whoever he's going to it's done and dusted. All this waiting is just for appearance sake.

He'll be 30 next season, isnt that a bit old for a winger?
I think any footballer who looks after themselves can be fit and fast up to the age of 35, not withstanding an injury. Look at Giggies for example.
But, What I like about Sanchez is his football brain and ability to drive past players which should be good for at least 3 years.

I haven't wanted a transfer to go through this much in ages. Matic I had reservations on because of age. Same with ibra. Pogba was a record price and we had a bunch of holes in the side so I was hesitant at first.... Di Maria under LvG I guess was the last one I was so invested in(and I still think we fecked that up by giving up quickly when LvG was the bigger problem there for di maria). Desperate for this to happen because he's just perfect for our needs and can give us a realistic shot at the Champions League. Not favourites of course, but I'd say probanly 2nd tier with Madrid, Bayern and Jucentus, behind City, psg and barca in top tier.

I wouldn't get too excited, you know he will end up at city and to be fair I don't blame him. If he had any balls and a passion he would sign for us but he will just be another number on the gravy train at citeh
