Wow, you got that out of it. No point in arguments with you then. You are like your name for sure .
I'm not arguing. I'm over the moon with the signing as you should be.

Just find it amusing so many people got it wrong. The move has took everyone by surprise. Don't get you knickers in a twist.

This thread makes me reminisce about the Pogba thread, the whole trek though USA, the instagrams, the twitters, the search for private flights out of Miami to Manchester. Epic!

Umm, you did actually say he’d chose city over us even if you did cover yourself a bit with the last sentance. What you said wasn’t too bad to be honest.

What I have found the funniest is when people shot down any talk of Sanchez coming here, writing paragraphs displaying their knowledge of how united are has beens and City is THE prime and obvious destination for footballers (coming from so called united fans). Now, they look silly

We're you out in front of this saying he's nailed on for United?
Or are you happy to pontificate armed with hindsight??

Well done to you
To be fair mate, you kept on denying the signing even though it looked obvious when he was bound to sign for us!

But yeah, even I thought that Sanchez's agents were using our name to get a better deal from City.

No wonder Liverpool fans like Klopp. They all settle for not winning. Rather finish 4th then 2nd.
I can't believe he said he'd rather be fourth in the league....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAH

So he enjoys liverpool conceding goals like tic-tacs?:lol:

Ah that explains why he's so tetchy and red faced about the whole thing!

Bless him.

At the outset, anyone who thought any different would be lying.

Or high.
Or drunk.
Or drunk and high.

It’s not the hindsight to know he was coming here. IMO and I’m not sure if @TheReligion meant the same was the posts saying we’ve been left behind, he wants pep, City is a no brainier destination, City is there for the trophies for him it’s obvious blah blah blah.

Doesn’t look so obvious now

Exactly that mate. It seems the people moaning about me digging the posts up are just embarrassed. Understandable mind.

Great great signing for United.
You’ve at least got to wait until he wins some major trophies at United before mine looks silly. :smirk: Personally, I never actually wanted him anyway.........

Why did the guy talking about leverage not understand that it was the pursuers who had the leverage rather than Arsenal due to the fact Sanchez contract is coming to an end.

Hence the reason why City refused to offer more than £20m when 6 months ago they offered £60m.

Had there been no other suitors, Arsenal would have had to accept £20m or nothing in the summer. Leverage due to contract running out.

It has everything to do with contract length!

I think the revisionism in the media of Mkhitaryan has been incredible. A couple of weeks ago he was a flop and a nobody, now some think Arsenal have got the better deal. He’s even the same age. I can’t believe some of the stuff I’m reading this morning, I can only think that some haven’t seen him play since he was at Dortmund.

Were we able to spot the right flight back then?

It's cause they're trying so hard to make the deal look bad. Alexis is old and top expensive and Mickhi will be a hit at Arsenal.

I'd be gutted though if Mou continues with his negative football against the big teams , even with Sanchez in the team.

How'd that "positive football" work for city against liverpool?

Sanchez has a role, to listen to the manager and play accordingly.
