City don't have players that get me off the edge of my seat but they are well drilled and functional and for that you have to give credit.

Aguero has always been a beast for them. I hate the smugness on all of their faces. Game raising twats need to raise their games against City instead of going into hiding.
Do they really have that many better players than ourselves? If you do think that way, out of interest which ones are you thinking of?
Yep. I'd take a 28 year old Aguero over a currently 24 y/o Harry Kane.
He has a decent season overall, not great but decent. Still disappointing to see him that far away in goal scoring record.
By September I was expecting him to land +35 goals overall, now will be lucky to hit 26-27 in all competition.
Aguero will retire a City legend and something about that is kinda sad to me, a player of that quality should have had bigger clubs in his resume, though i'm sure he's happy with the titles he's won

Yeah, I think he's been outstanding through-out his career. Only downside is the annual injury time.

I just worked out that Lukaku has got 5 league goals since the end of September. Including February, that's a goal a month since then. He got 7 in his first month and a half here

There's not much in it IMV, just think he's been the best striker in the league since he joined City.
Maybe I’m talking shite, but I was just reflecting on what I saw on the pitch. The difference in intensity really was striking, couldn’t believe my eyes. Thought maybe it was fatigue, after the United/Pool matches. But that obviously wasn’t the case seeying their second half performance after a hairdryer from Pochettino.

24yo Aguero > 24yo Kane though.
He's lost a yard and his dribbling/all round game is much worse now, still a phenomenal goal scorer though.

Of all the opinions you have this isn't the most ludicrous one.
DDG is rightly highly rated but perhaps a tad underrated when it comes to receiving major awards for the sheer impact he has. Although it's the nature of the beast with these things, they're geared towards attacking players.

He has the most clean sheets in the league, has saved us on numerous occasions by his brilliance, (most noteworthy away at Arsenal) so not sure what more you could ask of him??

Both are WC in their respective positions. But KDB has a bigger impact for his team and is enjoying a more successfull campaign.
KDB isn't just about passes, he is also crucial for their pressing and positional game.
If KdB doesn’t do that for you, I guess you need some Specsavers as you Brita say. They don’t have a Hazard or Messi, but few teams do.
One is the best in the world in his position, whilst one is only up there with the very best, a big difference there, hence why it surely is fine to suggest the best player in ones position in the world, should be up for such an award?

They could, but why has Buffon never won the top awards? Goalkeeping just isn't a very sexy position.
