How the hell is he training again already? Do people just overestimate City's injuries or what?
Now I know this goes against the very core of this thread, but for example both Delph and Gabriel Jesus will be out for way more weeks than what was initially reported, so when Pep says something about the 'diagnosis', he actually knows sweet feck all in my opinion.

So are we to believe that a syringe and needle managed to walk their way to a bottle of nandrolone, which just happened to be laying around. The syringe then magically stuck itself into the bottle of nandrolone and sucked the liquid into the syringe.
Then proceeded to magically levitate itself to Josep's arse, while avoiding everybody elses. Then poked him. Then the syringe injected its contents into Pep?

Pep sure does have an affinity to PEDs.

Yep. Sane injured so bad you almost spent 50mil on mahrez, but he's been pictured training
When they failed to acquire Mahrez, the doctor was ordered to "speed up" Sane's recovery.
And it looks like the doctor is delivering the goods. ;)

He is not training but was at the training ground. His time of return is still within the expected time set.

The newspaper that printed it retracted their original statement.

Pep talk the way guilty people often talk when they are found out. He might not be the drug expert we think he is, but he is certainly not fully clean. Think in Italy and Spain in the past doping cultures have been quite big and might still be around although think you can find players/doctors/clubs pushing the limits everywhere to become the very best they can be in all sports. How rather than if is the best question to ask in my view.

Your first port of call for City news is a United forum?
Weird you'd come to a United forum for City related news.
What are you on about? The Cafe is a great City news source!

Seriously though guys, this might be lighthearted banter for all I know, but do we really have a thread for City players returning earlier than expected? The FA must be missing something here!

I don't believe the doping conspiracies but love how much it winds up his fans.

No mate one of his "doctors" came up with the amazing excuse that Pep was one of these few humans (or superhumans as I like to call them) who naturally produce these high levels :D

I really wish Pep would get his healing hands involved with Mendy. Perhaps he could do something to get Foden and Diaz to bulk up a little? Could his potions not have improved Mangala's composure? Or Bravo's ability to catch the ball? Maybe he could get some steroids on City's tweets, its about time we competed for the World Retweet Cup?

More testosterone = bald as a coot ... he could be on to something there tbf :wenger:
That could explain why and how he behaves sometimes.

I'm sure most already know, these PEDs not only improves their physical performance conditions, PEDs also promotes their ability to dial in their skills and talents to a much higher level. The ability to hit record home runs for the Major League Baseball players is an example. So, if doping is going on, it could explain how well they are performing this season. Having said all that, they do have a very good set of players but their pace, bursts, and energy levels are quite mind blowing when I've seen them play this season.

It's the opposite, to be fair. It's quite flattering to see opposition fans accusing your team of doping. Reflects we're playing that well and that consistently some people refuse to believe it's legitimate.

Perhaps for you personally but there's certainly a few blue knickers in a twist in here.

It’s not because of the quality of your play or how hard your players work during the games. It’s the recovery rates.

I honestly believe that not using performance enhancing substances is the exception within the professional footballing world. Whatever form it's used in as example false Asthma diagnosis for faster muscular growth to downright steroids.

There's so much money involved and the respective football associations set very high allowed marginals, like within skiing where they are allowed readings so high a normal doctor would hospitalize you for. You honestly think La Liga would ban Messi or Ronaldo from playing, the loss is greater than the gain. Where there's money there's cheating

Well it's no coincidence there wasn't much talk about doping last season but now City are playing well all of a sudden there is.

I've made this point a few times to no response. They don't want to know.

looool

He’s either got his doctors using questionable methods or he’s being a drama queen about his players injuries to get sympathy from referees.

Theres definitely something weird with this City team and the Leicester team of 2016. I've been watching football since i was a kid and those teams in particular had this knack of not being out of breath in the 80-90th min when the team they were playing was finding it hard to sprint 10m.

I wouldn't be surprised if both of them were doped up

Do the mods just close their eyes to this thread, or are discussions like this actually fine?
Yeah, we daren't criticize godly Manchester City on this forum.

And talking about Pep's colourful history, in this context, when his team got fined for testing infractions 3 times just last year? How dare the mods not shut any discussion down. They'll have stern talking to from City's PR department. No special access for Redcafe!

This is embarrassing guys. City has broken us.
I fear this is only the beginning as they definitely won't be worse next season, due to how young their squad is overall. And they have the resources to continue developing in whatever way possible.

Get off your high horse.

There’s an absolutely valid discussion to be had when a team has had 3 doping location infringements and their manager keeps sending his injured players off to a super doctor in Barcelona Who has them fit a good 2-3 weeks quicker than should be medically possible without microdosing EPO.
