He was absolute rapid at the end there. That was unbelievable in the 92nd minute.

If he isn't asked to play with his back to the goal he will be even better, at least if there is any player nearer to him then he is good enough to play one two.

Very much impressed with the assist, that's his strength. Keep the ball on the ground and he can do more damage.

The most obvious "come and get me, Ed" plea you can see. He might as well post a picture of himself in United shirt.

Yeah. I'm that desperate.
He's actually an huge United fan.

He has been top class today. That hold, turn and run towards the end was absolutely world class

I really think, we are using Lukaku in a wrong way as a team. He is so good at making runs behind defenders, making diagonal runs but yet all we seem to do is play a high ball and expect him to win it.

His form has been good for awhile now. Yet it gets overlooked because a lot of the good work he’s done lately has been wasted by poor finishing. Hope his detractors will shut it for a bit now.

Really? fecking hell!! What else are we waiting? Do we wait until other big clubs sniffing around?
I think we're just cautious trying to get a player from PSG. Barcelona unsettled Verrati and paid the price.

Lukaku was fantastic today. That cross for Lingard was top drawer.

That last minute run was huge. Where did he get that speed from.
And don't forget the one that Chelsea saved. He was a sight to behold today. As good as he was bad in January.

He was pretty disappointing and lethargic up until the goal. After it though, he was pretty much everything we want him to be. Man of match performance!

Yeah. Tbf if I were him, I'd stay at PSG for a while.

That burst right there demonstrated what we need from him - all too often doesn't use his raw strength and power to his advantage but when he does he's hard to handle.
The team doesn't play to his strengths, despite him being a physical specimen - he is not a target man, and he is quite shit with his back to goal. Play him where he runs into space and he can be devastating.

Has been working his socks off lately. Was outstanding today after the goal. If we would have had someone pinning those pin point crosses like his, Lukaku's numbers would have been even better.
That burst off pace towards the end was

Really though? I would have thought they would go for Neymar regardless.
From what I can remember there was a story that they might not have bothered otherwise. When Neymar's agent approached them, they thought it was just the kind of hissy fit Ronaldo goes through every other year and that Neymar would stay regardless and so normally wouldn't bother pushing for him but they were annoyed at Barcelona so went for it, figuring that even if he stayed they would have driven up his wages. Might have been complete bollocks.

He's on course for 30 goals and 10 assists for the season. Really happy with his overall performances in his first season.

Even though he did score the first and beautifully create the second goal, his burst towards the end was my favourite part. Showed what his true power can be.

That moment was epic! This and his perfect bicycle kick that Courtois saved. I was astonished seeing both. What a game ha had.

World Class.
Not at all. Full marks for what he did today but he is far from world class. I still don't think he is good enough to spearhead our line but is a very good striker to have and could prove me wrong.

Though I have to say, I did not see this kind of performance in him against a top side opposition. He is still young and if he can do this against a few more top quality teams I am going to change my verdict on him.

Wasn't asked to do as much with his back to goal, definitely made a difference. While not a fearsome dribbler, he's better running onto the ball and putting defenders on the back foot. The midfielders did a much better job of finding him and he rose up, great to see.

Yeah that's bollocks, PSG have been after him forever and they were ready to go after him this summer too. The only thing is that Neymar already told them that he was going to join them only to stay and commit with Barcelona, so PSG allegedly told him that he was alone on that one, their offer is on the table but he has to do the job to leave Barcelona, they will just pay. Verratti had nothing to do with it, Barcelona already tried that with Marquinhos and Thiago Silva.

That's what I liked the most about this game, we didn't try to use him as a target man, he just played his game.

We need a gif of that run at the end. Where did he get that energy from? That was crazy. Mourinho was celebrating it like a goal. He is on another level to Morata who drops down like a pussy everytime he's touched. He wouldn't have scored Lukaku's goal today because he would've stayed down after the small contact with the defender that Lukaku had.

Beast mode today. Hopefully he can produce more of that until the end of the season. I got a feeling he will be instrumental in our FA/CL cup runs.

Impressed with Rom today, worked his socks off, didn’t hide, scored and created the winner. IMO most strikers would struggle to score the way we play and the chances we create - fair play 20 goals is a great return.

It's decent. He cost £75 million. If he can finish the season with 30+ goals then it'd have been an acceptable season, which he should achieve with our remaining games. We still need him to go up another level though.

Ye agree, despite him costing 75m he still looks raw at times and there are several aspects of his game to improve, notably his first touch and link up play. But fair play you can tell he’s working hard at it. I’m sure if united as a whole up their level we will see a different Lakaku again.

An absolute beast today. The goal was crafted in a very tight space, which we'll need to see more from him as face serial bus parkers in 7 of our last 10 league games.

He was absolutely fantastic today. He looks a different player when the ball isn’t continually hoofed up to him.

Oh yeah, the scissor kick was incredible as well! I hope the players behind him can create more opportunities for him to run on to the ball like he did at the end, giving him the time and space to show his pace and power.
To draw an NBA analogy and excuse me for that, but he can really develop into a dominant force up front like Shaq was for the Lakers in the front-court.

Saw a different side of him today, his desire and mentality really showed. MOTM for me.
