This really is a shit situation. Mourinho's not the type to get fecked around off a player who thinks he's billy big bollocks. Hope we dont see a situation which happened at Real and Chelsea in his last season, where its a inner struggle between staff and players.

If he's not fully committed to being here like Raiola's comments and his performances suggest then we need to get rid in the summer.

It’s quite clear who is messing around with Pogba’s head though, so long term if we want to have him settled he should get rid of him imo.
I doubt he's responsible for Pogba's poor form at times during this season.

I think it's pretty much confirmed that Pogba's poor form is related to himself and not tactics, I would not be surprised if Raiola told him to under perform as a way to protest for a better contract.
I genuinely thought I had heard all the excuses for Pogba's poor form, all the reasons it's not his fault, but this one genuinely takes the biscuit as a theory!

We were warned about Raiola. We should stay well clear of him in future. As for Pogba he needs to buckle down and put some hard work in. The argument that he's super talented doesn't cut it anymore.

Pogba doesn't deserve a penny more in wages.

I was delighted when we resigned him and even though his performances have often left a lot more to be desired, I'm still a Pogba fan. However, if he or Raiola are actually seeking an improved contract, I'd say we have to stand our ground and simply say 'no'. We can't continue to give in to agent/player demands when we receive so little in return.

If Pogba doesn’t turn in a top performance tomorrow, then there’s no excuses left for him.
A player earns a wage rise by performing on the pitch, not by sulking.

Over-hyped, over-rated, over-priced, over-paid, under-achiever.

I had enough of him, he either has to shape up and play to higher standards, or tell his bully agent to find a team and bring the dosh.

agree. I hope this wont be like rooney case again, even I can still forgive about Rooney after many great things he has done for the club. Pogba needs to show his quality consistently before asking higher salary.

What I've said is actually the opposite of an excuse. It is very possible that Pogba is throwing a strop because he wants an improved contract. It's on him.

Yep. For all the ruckus over Jose misusing him, wasn't it Jose who stood by him, criticized everyone who called him out and defended his salary etc? And this is how him and his fat wastrel of an agent repay us? Going to City even for the sake of contract leverage is a low. And don't give me that bullshit that Pogba didn't know.

The best he can do to make amends is win tomorrow's game for us and be the MOTM. Enough of the "he can only play in a midfield 3" crap as well. A midfielder needs to adapt to different systems, and if his lazy arse does not do that, he is more trouble than he's worth with his scummy agent lurking in the background. So glad Lukaku ditched Raiola.

The manager insulted a club legend when he criticized Pogba and got slaughtered for it on here. I think the only players more protected by the manager are Matic and Lukaku.

Pogba was given the keys to the team, control the midfield and lead us to the title. He couldn't do it. He had the potential to do it, like a Keane or Viera, but hasn't lived up to it. I hope that it is just him developing, because midfielders are usually a bit late in their development. But at the moment, he isn't at the right level to be the leader in the team.

Yeah, you're probably right there - what we notice is based on our outlook.

I hope Jose can find a way to get the best out of Sanchez & Pogba. I'd like to see him try Sanchez on the right. Pogba & Marital had a good understanding, so bring him back in. Doesn't seem to want to do that for whatever reason.
Don't think he likes Martial and I think Sanchez prefers the left. Yeah I'd play Martial on the left for sure

Stage is set for one of his custamory big game performances.
Has he ever played against a top EPL team and put in a big performance?
I think that his best game against a top EPL team was against AFC, when he played well, but then got sent off.

Has he even played in the big games since he came back? Against the top teams so far he has missed the away games at City, Arsenal and Spurs last season and Chelsea (away) Liverpool (home and away) ,Spurs (home) and City (home) already this season. Only played 3 big games of a possible 8 so far this season. I only recall the Arsenal away game he's done anything of note in but that's one of the three big games he's been involved in this season (the others being Chelsea (home) and Spurs (away). Needs to stop this habit of not playing in our biggest matches.

I don't need a top performance from him tomorrow but he better perform and show some heart. If he runs around sulking I say get rid. Manchester United are much greater than Paul Pogba. This Raiola saga stinks. I really don't know what to believe in the end but I do know what I see on the pitch and he better shape up.

I have a feeling he won’t start today. If he doesn’t then this is a message from Jose.

I’m sick of Jose and his messages. We wont win cnut all without Pogba starting. His performance last week was much better. Pogba should start in a midfield 3 with Matic & Herrera, with the latter doing a number on KDB IF he starts.

I'm looking forward to the day that Pogba rediscovers his form, making a large contingent of our fanbase look stupid in the process.

And he will come good.

Jeff Stelling and Gary Neville obviously aren't too observant. Both making out like Pogba died his hair blue for today specifically.

Can't get my head around this conversation. He's had blue hair for weeks.

The more a player thinks about being a 'big game player' the less likely he is to be one.

The best midfielders in the world focus on doing the basics right and being very efficient in their play. They don't try to put on a show.

What Gary Neville, a 43 year old man from Bury, says about a modern footballer in his 20’s is is pretty uninteresting to be honest. It’s the same as my dad talking down on electronic music because they don’t play instruments.

It’s not helping Pogba, that’s for certain, but it’s not what matters here. Pogba never drinks and keeps himself fit, no partying or stuff like that... THAT’s what matters, not his hairstyle. Instagram and too much crap? Again, what a 43 year old man thinks of social media in 2018 is kind of who cares.

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...
Pogba's hair doesn't interest me.

What interests me is whether he can show up for a big game and put in a dominant performance.

I'm tired of watching a 90m player do nothing in the biggest matches. Hope he shows up today.
