Well at least DDG has the golden glove as reward for his efforts. The less said about us the better. I really enjoyed the match day thread tonight though. Some really funny stuff in there. It's difficult to act like I don't care because it's end of season. These performances are not worthy of our great club and like I said the players and manager have a duty to entertain the fans. I'm really struggling to watch our games. Securing 2nd means feck all to me because the performances are not befitting of a 2nd place team.

Mourinho banged on about 2nd place like a broken record. He wanted that point today set the team up not to concede, didn’t care about scoring or entertainment. We played fecking west ham not man city pathetic!

Nothing will change until Jose is shown the door

I can't believe we are losing Martial and possibly Pogba for this...

Gonna suggest this again. Two match day threads. One for the slightly positive and above. The other for the rest.

Terrible refereeing. First half was decent IMV. Played with commitment. Second half was a bit all over the place from both teams and especially the ref who should most definitely have sent off Noble (who will escape further punishment because of that stupid rule that ref's decisions can't be overruled).

Shaw played well in that first half as did McTominay. Pogba's shooting a bit awful and he needs to stop being a pussy, then he can really blossom.
Thank god for sanity! Deserved at least a goal and should have had at least one pen 1st half. 2nd half wasn’t so good though.
Referee was shocking! A real homer. Didn’t want to upset the West Ham fans.
Absolutely nailed on red for Noble and arguably for Carroll. Apparently you are now allowed to grab people by the face and do forearm/elbow smashes to the face in front of the referee.

Finished the game with Jones, Bailly Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw & Young.
With Herrera & McTominay protecting the back 6.

Really pushing for a winner!

I don't know why we play like we know nothing about football! Is it because players dont care any more after City won it or ?

It's really disappointing. I wonder what exactly we need? New players? New manager? Such depressing and no signs of progress for the next year. Sorry for being negative but for me that is the truth.

Jose is very lucky to be finishing 2nd. But the most frustrating thing is that we are 20 points behind City, that is a huge gap to overcome. At this rate United will be the noisy neighbors, and City will go on to dominate the EPL for years to come.

Since Sir Alex Ferguson retired at the end of the 2012-13 season, no Premier League team has drawn more matches nil-nil than Manchester United (19, level with Southampton)

nobles reaction was over the top but that was a snide little foul from pogba.

roll on next season, this is tedious
You can say that again.

Yes it was cynical from Pogba, but completely disagree with raising your hands to a players' face. Noble is just a twat of a footballer, I remember when he tried to lift an injured Herrera off the pitch. Cannot stand him.

Don't worry lads. Only another 9,000 odd minutes of this shite-on-a-stick football to go. At least we might pick up another 2-3 trophies along the way.

Persevere & endure.

A few positives, a lot better than against Brighton. We passed the ball around quite well for a change, Shaw played well and Sanchez proved without doubt that he is far better than Rashford and Martial at this time. One hell of a season and glad we have got second and the FA cup will be the icing on a wet sponge cake. Hopefully I can live through the summer transfer period without looking or believing any of the fantasy stories that will flood abound.

Didn't even bother watching. I've been told results are all that matter, so I've watching the football and I'm here for the post match celebration

Not bothered with performance like most of you. Our players are in cup final with their heads. This was game when we played on point. We got a point. If we play like this against chelsea then i will be worried. And we won't.
My only worry is rashford/ marial situation. Rashford is in terrible form and martial.... he is off i guess.

I know it's an unfair standard, but under Fergie we'd have smashed that pile of crap. Or, we'd have scraped a 1-0 win while playing a team full of reserves and kids (I'm thinking the game against Wolves very late on in the season, where we had Gibson as one of our most established outfield players). The "it's a dead rubber match" argument doesn't hold much weight when you're playing a fairly strong first team.

Chelsea (the saviours of football) fan.
Can't imagine how an opposition fan survived that  I mean even for those of us who are invested in the team it was still a dreadful experience, but to watch it for the entertainment!
Yeah, not my best decision ever. I've sat through many a Chelsea shit-show and as you say, as a neutral it's probably a lot worse.

I can’t wait until Mourinho goes. The football is absolutely brutal to watch under this guy.

Crap game

Players are done with the league

Really don’t care about these results they are nothing games

All that matters is the cup final

Still could have easily won the game

Yep, cause we never ever put in a bad performance under Fergie. Ever.

To be fair it was a tough away fixture against 15th placed west ham. Who had just beaten the mighty leicester.
