Search for minstrel show and that’s the first thing which shows up. So yeah I have already said sorry for any offense caused to anyone. Also I don’t think I used it in any derogatory way or poked fun at any race. If you want to be precious about an honest error then go ahead. I can’t help it. If he wasn't lying and admitted it was a poor attempt at a shitty racist joke it wouldn't bother me tbh, but it's the lying that annoys me.
It may be the case that he's lying about that, but referring to something historically racist (in a non-derogatory manner) doesn't make the joke racist.
