Oh, and how does a series of increasingly thick undulating lines represent railways or railway workers exactly? If a client asked me to design a railway poster and I turned that in they'd throw it out and go elsewhere.

Is that because it isnt a poster? id be angry too if i asked for a poster design and you designed a shirt

Disagree with people that say that the home shirt will only look good by wearing the black shorts as well ie wearing the full kit. Not my favorite home shirt but no need to wear the full kit. We haven't seen the players in the kit yet either. I will still buy it but wearing the a full kit is a bit over the top when your a someone in their 20's.
I'm 30 and I'm a full kit w@nker when I go to the gym or play sport. Nothing wrong with that.

This. I'm really trying to figure out the correlation... black to represent coal soot? Baffled.

I didn’t know Newton Heath had anything to do with Yorkshire? What’s that name drop about?

I think it will be a grower, not as bad as a lot have made out but then again everyone has different taste.
It’s not a bad looking kit at all, it’s just the omission of white shorts and having the socks half red that doesn’t make sense for a United home kit.

Well try imagining the design, as described above... But on a poster. It's difficult, I know, but if you shut your eyes really tight and try to form a picture in your mind...

Maybe the client designed it? You and I both know how these things go ;)

didnt nike have a red and white training kit version of this a few years ago?

Genuinely looks like a £5 knockoff United top you would find in the Lidl sale bins.

I say this every year, but I miss Nike and cant wait to go back at the end of this deal

Yeah, it looks great in the video.

Because you can't see most of it.

What's the commotion here? I see nothing wrong with this kit. If you follow Adidas design language, this syncs with all the latest Adidas design.

That looks modern, guess it will look better with Pogba in it due to his black knee.

But in all seriousness, this design is modern. Nothing wrong with that.

Check out @MUFCLatestnews’s Tweet:
That is utter garbage marketing spin, but I have long fancied a proper Newton Heath third strip - the Umbro one looked great

Cutting a cow in half and putting it on display is modern. I would rather have 'looks nice' than modern. Doesnt matter how modern it is if it looks like a cheap knockoff training top

If that follows the Adidas design language? They need to learn a new one

Sadly in the designing world, what's nice to them couldn't be appreciated with normal eyes like us. Just saying.

The portion from the collar to just above the Chevy logo looks really nice. Every inch below that is a disaster, unfortunately.
Don't mention the Chevy logo! you'll get hounded out of here. Seriously though it's awful. The only shirt I've liked since we've had Chevy is the first Adidas home shirt.

Nasty stuff. It's not even a gradient, it just turns completely black after some lines.

:(

White shorts are essential for a mufc kit (I know Barca once used maroon shorts and don't care).

I guess the main idea of this kit was to stop people complaining about the Chevy logo. I think they succeeded

Shirt would be perfect without the dastardly black stripes on the bottom, what a shame.

I’m not sure about the kit. The lines at the bottom look part of the shorts making it look like the guy in that photo is pulling a simon Cowell and has his shorts pulled up to his ribs.

I suppose it’s really quite hard to do anything fantastically different with the United home strip. I mean keep it Red must be the main objective.
