What ever way it ends up I just hope both end up leaving
Ronaldo tried to leave and even said we were ensalving him. Fergy begged him to stay another season. Because he understood the value of hum both on and off the pitch. The manager has to be the boss or anarchy rules, surely that is the same the world over once a player begins to dominate proceedings then what stops other players trying to follow suit .
The minute any player tried it on with Fergie then they were history no matter how big a name they were .
And before someone says it yes I know Jose isn’t fergie BUT he is the most successful manager apart from fergie it has to be his way or the highway same as it would be with Pep , Klopp or any other top manager .
Pogba is only valuable it terms of what we can sell him for his nonsense is causing rift after rift which must be having an effect on the entire squad
The armband doesn't really mean that much to be honest. The true leaders will emerge regardless. Back when Neville & Giggs passed our captaincy around, it was clear Ferdinand & Vidic were leading us. Hazard was Belgium's captain in the World Cup despite Kompany & Lukaku being the obvious leaders of the team. Happens all the time.I think that's what we're doing. Or was doing before the whole Pogba debacle. Problem is Valencia hasn't shown anything to prove that he's a good captain, can he even speak English?!
Fergie got rid of Pogba because of his and his agents attitude. You think Fergie would do any differently now? Jose’s right.
We are literally hilariously bad. Thanks everyone who begged for Mourinho at this club.
OMG there's nothing wrong with that single quote. Similarly, there's nothing wrong with Pogba's single quote either. Neither, strictly speaking, has said anything wrong in that one quote. What is this kind of interpretation ? This is the actual quote again :
What do you mean "this year"? We, and our gutter-press, have been "enjoying" it for three seasons.Ahh, the good old Mourinho circus landed in Manchester this year. Enjoy it, this is just the beginning!
Fergie didn't "get rid" of Pogba.Fergie got rid of Pogba because of his and his agents attitude. You think Fergie would do any differently now? Jose’s right.
Jose gave him the captaincy to try and show faith in him and acknowledge his contribution. People have incredibly short memories.Ronaldo tried to leave and even said we were ensalving him. Fergy begged him to stay another season. Because he understood the value of hum both on and off the pitch.
What im trying to say is, Jose needs to realise that Pogba is our and only creative spark in the team. On top of being probably our most valuable player if he was to be sold. Basically its a stupid fight to be involved in because he wont win it.
Go on then, what did he do? He could have kept him. He decided not to based on the attitude of him and his agent. If that’s not getting rid I don’t know what isFergie didn't "get rid" of Pogba.
We'd be a dog beerLooking at the state of things right now, if United was a brewery our beer would be 0,5 %
Incredible that there still people here that believe in Pogba after he did the same with Ferguson.Time will tell if this is true but I hope to god it is , this guy thinks he is bigger than the manager and bigger than the club .
Jose must stand up to him
He didnt give him captaincy. He is only captain when Valencia is not playing.Jose gave him the captaincy to try and show faith in him and acknowledge his contribution. People have incredibly short memories.
There’s a hell of a difference between Ronaldo and Pogba ,Ronaldo tried to leave and even said we were ensalving him.
Fergie wanted him to stay, but Pogba wanted guarantees of game time. Juve offered this to him so he left.Go on then, what did he do? He could have kept him. He decided not to based on the attitude of him and his agent. If that’s not getting rid I don’t know what is
Are there any quotes from the great man about this? It has always seemed to be a bit of a grey area.Go on then, what did he do? He could have kept him. He decided not to based on the attitude of him and his agent. If that’s not getting rid I don’t know what is
The same way Sir Alex booted out Ronaldo or Rooney as soon they agitated? The manager has to be the boss or anarchy rules, surely that is the same the world over once a player begins to dominate proceedings then what stops other players trying to follow suit .
The minute any player tried it on with Fergie then they were history no matter how big a name they were .

Sure and when Rooney decided to.. ohh wait...Because that's what Fergie literally believed in and set our club based on it ?
Those clubs have both been more successful than us since we lost SAF and their fans hold the club to much higher standards than we currently do. We are the biggest club in the world, it's time we started demanding it on the pitch.Sigh... Constant means it always happens. When in fact, and sorry to burst the circle jerk happening with the "Jose out" lot, its happened twice, at two clubs we would all consider a circus, where players absolutely do reign over managers. Few of them last long enough to ever stamp their authority and are undermined constantly by players. Jose was not the only victim at both these clubs.
So I ask you, and every other member of the "Jose out" club, do you want United to be like a Real Madrid or a Chelsea, where we change manager every 2 seasons and allow players to effectively run the club? Is that the United you guys are looking for? I thought United fans viewed the club as something more than a
I'm not even massively pro Mourinho, I find him extremely frustrating, especially with regards to Martial, but in this battle, its Joses side everytime. The reasons are obvious, Pogba is the player and he is undermining not only the manager, but his team mates every time he opens his mouth to the press. People can state that "but Jose done it" and yes he has, but its part of his job description, to speak to the press. Hes admitted he was wrong to be so honest in the past and as others have stated, hes trying to change the way he deals with it. Whats Pogba doing exactly?
I agree on your Valencia point- he’s not a good captain at all from my view, he’s played in England over 10 years and still can’t speak proper English!? Pogba should not be saying this stuff in public, it’s not just what he’s said but knowing saying this is going to cause a huge shit storm with media, fans etc. He’s not even saying it from a position of strength cos he’s not all thatYou agree with his point of view yet you want him sold to the highest bidder and carry on experiencing the opposite with the same manager?
Im all for this authority flexing but what exactly is Valencia bringing to the captaincy table to warrant the armband?
Ferguson did whatever he wanted at the time it happened in whatever scenario. I don't like how people make out like he had hard and fast rules. Even his former players acknowledge he treated people differently.Sure and when Rooney decided to.. ohh wait...
Erm Pogba left, the deal was on the table and Fergie wanted to keep him.Go on then, what did he do? He could have kept him. He decided not to based on the attitude of him and his agent. If that’s not getting rid I don’t know what is

This is a saga which has to be read between the lines over time. You can't say one has done nothing wrong and the other is totally wrong, whether its Mourinho or Pogba you support.
Rooney would have spent the past few years in Chelsea had Fergie stayed for one more season. Only Ed and Moyes were the reasons of him staying.Sure and when Rooney decided to.. ohh wait...
Indeed, he did what he thought was best in the situation. In that situation he felt we needed Rooney to be successful. With Beckham he didn't.Ferguson did whatever he wanted at the time it happened in whatever scenario. I don't like how people make out like he had hard and fast rules. Even his former players acknowledge he treated people differently.
Ronaldo said he was a slave to United and you dont think thats him showing us disrespect? Oh my.There’s a hell of a difference between Ronaldo and Pogba ,
We all knew Ronaldo ‘s end game was to play for RM but he didn’t show the lack of respect to his manager his club and his fans that Pogba does , you can see that in the reception that Ton gets whenever he comes back .
Do you think Pogba will get that type of reception ?
Jose said Pogba has been rested...Does this explain the absence of Pereira in tonight's game? Is Pereira potentially playing instead of Pogba next time in light of Pogba's comments?
And what about the first time he asked to leave?Rooney would have spent the past few years in Chelsea had Fergie stayed for one more season. Only Ed and Moyes were the reasons of him staying.
Thats because he was passed it and Fergie knew it. Fergie did what was best in different situations and sometimes he did pander to players who disrespected/undermined the club.Rooney would have spent the past few years in Chelsea had Fergie stayed for one more season. Only Ed and Moyes were the reasons of him staying.
Fergie is the only one who can analyzes if the player disrespected the club or not, and on that analysis he took the action. He didn't bend to any player who disrespected him.Thats because he was passed it and Fergie knew it. Fergie did what was best in different situations and sometimes he did pander to players who disrespected/undermined the club.
Look, we'll hire the right manager and stick with him until he calls it a day, you know, like what happened with Sir Alex and Sir Matt. We'll keep switching managers until we find someone who ticks all the boxes, Jose isn't that guy so he might as well go.Sigh... Constant means it always happens. When in fact, and sorry to burst the circle jerk happening with the "Jose out" lot, its happened twice, at two clubs we would all consider a circus, where players absolutely do reign over managers. Jose got him in! People complaining wanting Pogba for years and crying about Fergie selling him are just as bad.Fergie got rid of Pogba because of his and his agents attitude. You think Fergie would do any differently now? Jose’s right.
