Great impact. Can't fault him.
I think Pogba gets it but Fellaini definitely up there. Our player of the month?
He's not the problem or the cause (the manager and board are), but he's thriving in it.You say that but the goal came from a nice cross. It's unbelievable. Fellaini isn't the problem nor the reason for our type of play.
He's thrived under other managers too. Theres just this myth that we play shit football because of him. Some people even have a grudge as he reminds them of Moyes - whose teams probably still played better football then LVG lol. He's not the problem or the cause (the manager and board are), but he's thriving in it.
Cause we're Man United not Bolton. We should just go full Bolton and start hoofing it to him from minute one. That's our best tactic, why not use it from the start?
We certainly don't look it.Cause we're Man United not Bolton.
Yeah I agree but the ownership is a problem because if we cannot compete in the market, we are in trouble and our strategy has failed. I don't think it understood you need a solid base before putting the cherries on top.We certainly don't look it.
We have spent the third highest on transfer fees since Sir Alex left and have the second highest wage bill in world football. Yeah. Bigger stones than a lot of far more talented players in our team. Shame he's so limited.Has a great mentality, a bit of that old Utd dog in him, just a very limited player.
That's a little distorted because of how much we spent on Pogba and Lukaku. The wage bill is just being weak and giving good players at best too much money. The problem is that that the club are now going all out for that one star. Di Maria (that summer we got Falcao but that was a risk and it failed), Pogba, Griezmann, Bale, Sanchez (who many of us would have went for to be fair). Under Sir Alex, we went an age buying a midfielder. The club have to accept that Jose did well last season. We need 4/5 quality players and that means we need to scout better and adjust our priorities by recognizing we need to rebuild. They bought into success and they have shown no idea what is needed. When we start talking value, it's time to sell because it's saying you cannot compete. The club rebuilt itself on the idea of youth and on GOOD scouting. We've also undersold which is crazy. The club is a mess.We have spent the third highest on transfer fees since Sir Alex left and have the second highest wage bill in world football. The ownership is not the problem.
I agree. That would be well deserved! He should be a vice-captain at least.
Oh come one man, give the guy some credit. Fellaini has been a very solid performer through out his time here, he is much more useful than some other squad players we have. It's our dogshitt setup and style that makes him look good, which in itself is an issue.
Can anyone honestly with a straight face tell me he would have a spot even on the bench in other top teams?
Don't have an issue with giving him a credit he deserves, fair play to him, he deserves praise.Oh come one man, give the guy some credit. Fellaini has been a very solid performer through out his time here, he is much more useful than some other squad players we have.
We are shit and Fellaini is having a "good season", is anyone surprised? It's our dogshitt setup and style that makes him look good, which in itself is an issue.

I think he is a talented footballer, and he would find his uses in most teams. Especially he has demonstrated he can be very disciplined and follow instructions. You are right not as a starter for teams like City but, he is here he is contributing and I appreciate his contribution. If every player of ours, demonstrated that same commitment, we would be a better footballing side.Don't have an issue with giving him a credit he deserves, fair play to him, he deserves praise.
But again imagine him in a high pressing, ball on the ground team with quick play and bunch of small incisive passes? You can't because he thrives due to our dogshitt style.
To be honest we should go route 1 from the beginning. Seeing as its the only time we look like we have a plan under Mourinho. Just play Fellaini and Lukaku from the beginning every game and put lots of long balls in the box.We are shit and Fellaini is having a "good season", is anyone surprised?
Not his fault. However, his constant presence in the team suggests that the manager has run out of ideas. We spent the last 30 minutes in the Wolves game hoofing it to him and did the same last night (though to some good). When route one happens, you know the manager doesn't have an attacking plan and is just keeping his fingers crossed.
Well that's what I've been saying since the LVG days, this tumescent style of our manager has enabled him to look good.We are shit and Fellaini is having a "good season", is anyone surprised?

Talented footballer? Props to him for making it in EPL and football world but what are his footballing talents other than sublime chest control and being tall enough to be a danger in the air?I think he is a talented footballer, and he would find his uses in most teams. I said the same yesterday. If that's our best plan, then use it from the first minute itself. To be honest we should go route 1 from the beginning. I don't know how many united people would trade their team for the Belgian NT, but i think we play a pretty quality technical game and even then we find plenty of use for Fellaini. I just don't get why United people seem to be of the idea that needing Fellaini from tme to time is a sign of simply lacking the quality to play "the right type of play", because i believe Belgium has practicly perfected it's technical style but that doesn't make Fella redundant to us.It's our dogshitt setup and style that makes him look good, which in itself is an issue.

Jesus mate, Fellaini is a better footballer than you give him credit for. He is a solid short passer, solid on the ball, reliable enough defensively, he will run his guts for the team. He has scored important goals for us, and is as you said an asset during set pieces, in attack and defense. He is more talented football player than lots of player playing their trade in the PL, and what is important here, he is a good servant to this club. Everything else is unnecessary bullshit addressed to one of our own players.Talented footballer? Props to him for making it in EPL and football world but what are his footballing talents other than sublime chest control and being tall enough to be a danger in the air?
God knows he can't make a pass long nor short, can't run with the ball, can't dribble, can't shoot and when he has the ball it appears as if both of his legs are in a state of perpetual argue with one another.
I admit I haven't been watching Belgium NT playing that much, but from what I've seen they're also putting an emphasis on counter attacking, relaying on KBG to make an decisive pass, Dembele to carry the ball through or Hazard to make it happen. Also don't think, could be wrong, Fellaini isn't starter for you guys.I don't know how many united people would trade their team for the Belgian NT, but i think we play a pretty quality technical game and even then we find plenty of use for Fellaini. I'm not saying he's shiit, I think I cleared that. Props to him for making it to the EPL and the world of professional football, he's got his talents, obviously because he is after all a pro footballer.Jesus mate, Fellaini is a better footballer than you give him credit for.
