When even lesser managers like Ole can come in and get us playing like this, you have to wonder how we got it so wrong for 4 years with 2 stubborn managers who couldn't even deliver the bare minimum of entertaining football.
Perhaps, but the general philosophy was being attack oriented and also heavily backing the academy prospects to succeed. This also is the general DNA of the club. They were not outliers but him adapting to the squad and opposition.
To be honest we knew what we were getting with Jose and still hired him. When even lesser managers like Ole can come in and get us playing like this, you have to wonder how we got it so wrong for 4 years with 2 stubborn managers who couldn't even deliver the bare minimum of entertaining football.
As bad as he was, what's really criminal is some elements in the press (Neville...) and the fanbase willfully closing their eyes to the painfully obvious.Mourinho needs to be locked up man. criminal what he was doing to us.

Is it? Nowhere near enough scrutiny is given to Mourinho’s dismal coaching of this squad. This thread needs to be locked. Time to move on.
Not true.To be honest we knew what we were getting with Jose and still hired him.
Some blame has to go to our management.
No way mate. I for one am enjoying letting my feelings for Mourinho continue to be known on here. I still enjoy a healthy session of Moyes bashing too. This thread needs to be locked. Time to move on.
I think Jose was sectioned in the summer and his evil twin brother stepped in fooling all of us.Not true.
We knew we were getting a manager who knew how to win trophies. We also knew that Jose teams were great on the counter and could score large number of goals. We also knew that Jose knew how to put together teams which can score lots of points in the league.
What we actually got, was none of the above. I genuinely believe that Jose has lost his marbles. The Jose we got was not the Jose which was advertised.
Soon another club will ignore this and ta-da!Not true.

Something, something, you didn't show this type of disloyalty to Fergie; dick! For the next few posts can we pretend that this is the post match thread if Mourinho was still our manager.
I’ll start.
FFS, it’s fristrating to go ahead and then literally just sit back and let the other team attack us. Why is fellaini coming on at the end when we have youngsters like Dalot and Gomes waiting to play? And if that cnut Pogba carries on like he is he can get the feck out of our club. The overrated tart.
Good soldiers. As bad as he was, what's really criminal is some elements in the press (Neville...) and the fanbase willfully closing their eyes to the painfully obvious.
Ronaldo wasn't happy with the defensive approach and wanted the team to attack more. Mourinho shit-talked Ronaldo in front of the other players for not tracking back enough. Why did he fall out with Ronaldo? Anyone remember?
It has, its rashford and martial I feel sorry for.I feel like the last 2.5 years have been a waste.
I think that is the Jose before his Madrid days. This is the new Jose. All the characteristics he showed he were prevalent at his two previous jobs too.Not true.

Thankfully he was out on loan the past two seasons so he hasn't had to endure as much as the other two.Not perreria?
Anyways, this thread should still be left open as we need to keep reminding some posters who the real virus was between Jose and Pogba
Presumably because A, they had lots of good will and positive memories of him from the first time around and B, thats a two way street so Mourinho probably wasn't as grumpy with them.Running with that, why do you think the likes of Lampard, Terry, Ibrahimovic still love him despite experiencing this broken irredeemably toxic v2 Mourinho?
His last months here were damned-near a carbon copy of his last months at Chelsea. At what point do you step back and take a long, hard look at yourself and identify where the problem lies? Mourinho tried to control things that were clearly beyond his control and instead of taking action, he allowed the whole place to fall down around his ears. He could have been here for the rest of his career had he adapted to the club but instead, he expected the club to adapt to him.We can debate back and forth who has changed more footballers or Mourinho. No doubt footballers have but so has Mourinho in my opinion. Either way his methods particularly his man management style clearly just doesn’t work anymore. So he needs to adapt or become obsolete. He should have done it after the Chelsea sacking so it will be interesting if the penny has finally dropped this time or if as I suspect he’s just too stubborn to change.
FFS why can't we start games like how we did when we went down? Still, a 1-1 draw means our goal difference is still -1. Also, we are 2 points closer to City who lost. For the next few posts can we pretend that this is the post match thread if Mourinho was still our manager.

True. This thread needs to remain open so everytime the nonsenses Mourinho use to peddle about the quality of our players get proven wrong with each passing game, people have a place to point them out.Is it? Nowhere near enough scrutiny is given to Mourinho’s dismal coaching of this squad.
Right-minded supporters were given pelters for exercising their right to affirm that our players were and still are capable of more.
That crap was doing my head in so badly.Remember when his cultists on here kept trying to convince us Jose had no hope of competing with City because they were 'backed by a country, have two world class players for every position, Pep inherited KDB while he inherited Smalling, they bought 50m defenders while ours cost 30m,had Tikxi the best DOF on earth while we had Woody the Underminer' etc. Or how he wasn't backed despite buying two players this summer. Would really have loved to hear their explanation for the league table now. They were still at it even after he got sacked. Reading all those idiotic excuses was the most annoying thing about Jose's tenure
Mourinho and LVG tried to over complicate things and have gigantic ego's and I think the players reacted (negatively). Solskjaer has no ego and tries to simply things and I think the players reacted (positively). Mourinho and LVG would cut off their nose to spite their face. We knew we were getting that with LVG but with Jose you'd still think he put winning over everything but I think once it became clear he couldn't win he'd pout more and more. When even lesser managers like Ole can come in and get us playing like this, you have to wonder how we got it so wrong for 4 years with 2 stubborn managers who couldn't even deliver the bare minimum of entertaining football.
I agree with this. The thread must stay open. More and more of Jose's lies will be debunked as time goes on.True. Thats it in a a nutshell and yes i agree, i've been of the opinion for years that Mourinho wanted the United job for a long time because he wanted to have complete control and basically be unquestionable like Ferguson was in his later years. Because he has had lots of rows with directors of football at Chelsea and Real over the years, rumours that he didn't want to work under one at United either. His last months here were damned-near a carbon copy of his last months at Chelsea. At what point do you step back and take a long, hard look at yourself and identify where the problem lies? I don’t think he cared about what he was doing - the plan was move on with a bag of swag. In that he was successful - from the special one to the sacked one. Despicable character. His last months here were damned-near a carbon copy of his last months at Chelsea. At what point do you step back and take a long, hard look at yourself and identify where the problem lies? Sour grapes trying to diminish his accomplishment. And he did it against which competitors? Top 4 were average that year and Chelsea did barely enough in the later half of the season, like literally. It was written on the wall that they meant to fail next season with that form.
With Real Madrid you could argue that he won it while breaking records.
According to Samuel Lockhurst he watches Mrs Browns Boys Christmas special on repeat and his favourite Christmas song is this years number 1.Can just imagine Christmas around Mourinho's.
No pigs in blankets, no stuffing, no roasties or parsnips. Just sprouts and dry turkey.
