Hm lets see. Besides the fact Dortmund preferred to sell Pulisic etc because they knew they had Sancho, how about the fact that Dortmund at the moment are a better team than us, they have a vastly more realistic chance of winning bigger trophies, he's pretty much guaranteed in their first team, added to the fact he's got absolutely no reason to move in this stage of his career. His contract runs until 2022 and everyone can see how good he is, there's absolutely no reason for Dortmund to sell him at anything other than an absolutely ludicrous fee akin to someone like Mbappe. Why? Because they hold all the cards, financially they aren't obligated after sales, and we aren't gonna spunk that amount of money on an 18 year old kid, no matter how good he is, it just isn't going to happen. It's a pipe dream, the time to get him was when he was leaving City's academy, or Watfords.
Him being English makes zero difference, he left England, i highly doubt he cares much about coming back, i'm sure he's already on decent money and he's getting plenty of game time with the highly likely Bundesliga champions this season. We're also going through a change, we aren't stable at all, no direction from up top, no permanent manager, no DoF..
Give me one instance that sais to you, yes, we are going to spend unreal amounts of money on this 18 year old kid for our right wing, in what world is this honestly going to happen, you say we have money, but do we? In the sense that, the money we have needs to help build the team, it aint all gonna be spent on one teenager. I'd gladly eat my words on this, but I don't think I ever will be, feels like people are dreaming that because we are Manchester United we can just snatch up players like Jadon Sancho whenever we want just because without looking at the realistic aspects of the deal. I mean Frenkie De Jong is going to Barca for a ridiculous amount, do you honestly believe Sancho is gonna go for any less, same with Dembele.
