Under a tree.
Rami Malek is a very good actor, but there is no way he should be winning the best actor. First Arab to win the award, i believe, so i guess that ticks the PC box

Olivia Colman win seems a surprise considering how Glenn Close and Lady Gaga seemed like the front runners while Christian Bale should have won it for Vice instead of Rami Malek .

From the looks of it everything feels in place for Spike Lee to win the best director .

How dafaq did Black Panther win a Bafta for best Special Effects. The CGI was terrible, one of the worst things about the movie.

More pc bs, funny thing is from the people collecting the award not a single black person seemed to be on the special effects team
What the hell does that have to do with anything?

Not sure how Bohemian Rhapsody or Black Panther managed to win...well, anything really. I didn’t see much else last year so I’m not sure what should’ve won tbf, but they were both average to poor imo.

It's really not that hard to understand why it won best costume design.

Green Book winning is actually hilarious. It's a nice reminder just in case anyone was close to taking the Oscars seriously. The win was even more amazing when you consider the campaign lurched from one controversy to the next. Here's a neat summary -

- Mortensen uses the n word.
- The director admits to flashing people on sets.
- The screenwriter apologises for promoting Islamophobia.
- The family of the man portrayed says the movie is all wrong and they were never spoken to.
- And just today, a reviewer from NBC has shared an angry, snarky email she received from one of the producers after she gave it a bad review.

Coleman and Spike Lee winning were fun moments though.
