If Ashley Young is still our captain (or even a starter) next season, I'm not sure I can motivate myself to watch any more of this. Probably knee-jerk reaction though, I'm always gonna watch our games.
But meh, I feel like we're just going in a circle now. Starting to feel a bit like my local team in Norway, Rosenborg, who beat Ajax just 1,5 seasons ago in the playoffs to the Europa League group stages, and since then have sacked the manager (who was frankly doing great - won the double), and are currently 2nd from bottom in the Norwegian league. Feel like both teams have been run like shit since their great managers quit (Nils Arne Eggen for Rosenborg, with 14 league titles, 6 cup titles, and 7 straight years in the CL group stages or better).
I was really hoping for a proper "back to the roots" effect with Solskjaer (like Rosenborg had with Ingebrigtsen, the guy who got sacked last season while on route to another double), and I guess we'll see this summer, but I'm not feeling very confident based on the team selections lately tbh. Don't trust the board to give the backing needed, and even if they try to, I don't trust them to get the business done. Fearing another summer with 2-3 average signings, and starting next season with the same back four and Lingard.
