I said it jokingly previously as it will obviously never happen but I would take a straight swap for Lukaku every day, would solve our problem finding a long term Vardy replacement over night
Replacing Vardy with lukaku is like replacing a champion greyhound with a Pug

The difference is Lukaku would never move to Leicester now. Backwards step.

Were there links between Leicester and some good players recently? If transfer is to happen, Leicester will need to buy someone to spend this money

Garner wasn't in the squad because he was playing in Northern Ireland with our U23s, he's not going on loan to Leicester.
I think the best thing for Garner's career would be for him to get regular first team action at a good championship club similar to Axel and Henderson last year.

However given that we sold Fellaini and left Herrera leave we need players like Garner to compete in FA Cup, Europa league and premier league.

He is not going on loan unless we have central midfielders lined up.

Whatever is going on with Maguire's agent I would be surprised if Garner was part of it.

If you listened to your sources thwre wouldn't have been any movement from day one.
You cant accuse us of believing tweets yet act as if yours 100 percent on the up.
thing is though, the reports we have been listening too have all been wrong.

we were linked with 3 Cbs but given the names mentioned I think I'd go with Soyuncu as a replacement and buy a striker/winger

He said Leicester wouldn't sell due to the economic power of EPL sides and Maguire wouldn't want to come!
We were arrogant for thinking he would even want a move.
He couldnt have been more wrong thus far.
Seems he wants to come and Leicester wont stand on his way if we can agree a price..

That'd be awful for Garner's development but this isn't the thread to discuss that.

Because you're here acting like a smug ****.

Your club represents everything wrong with football, your fanbase is 98% tourists and your squad consists entirely of ***** in the absolute sense of the word. If any team threatens to replace you as you clutch to the remains of your crumbling, shitty legacy you just use the endless Chinese millions to ruin their preseason and weaken their team.

I absolutely ****ing despise your club and wish nothing but misery on it.

We dislike you because you are a bunch of self entitled tw@ts that think you can rock up at any club and cherry pick players and expect to pay fvck all for them.

It aint happening here.
I think we should have foxestalk goes into meltdown thread. They seem full of themselves for some odd reason.

Also when have we cherry picked players and paid feck all for them? We offered £70m originally which would have made Maguire second most expensive defender in history. We broke records for Rio and Rooney at the time. AWBs price was feck all too probably. So was Shaws. We always paid a premium to other premier league clubs.

It's good to see that we are still hated. I don't know why those imbeciles hate us though.

Looks like we're making progress. If we manage to bag Longstaff, Maguire and Dybala, it'll certainly give the squad a lift.
Yeah I just do not believe that Utd are capable of pulling off possibly one of the heists of the century in swapping cash and Lukaku for Dybala, yes I know he could end up like another Di Maria but then on the other hand he might buck the trend and be a huge hit.

Could understand the move for Longstaff if we could bring in someone world class like Dybala and like you say those three would salvage things in this window a little bit but still think it would be a miracle to get all three of them in such a short space of time.

Yeah I'll keep my expectations low and expect 1. If we get three signings Ole wanted, it'll create such positivity though and put him in a position of strength.

This has been dragging for too long... really pathetic! The ball is clearly in Ed’s court.
