Bloody hell, they trained at the stadium across the street from me?

And here I am at work, like a chump! Should have called in sick and found a big piece of cardboard to write a message of my hopes and wishes for the team ;(

I think he should play the team he intends to play against Chelsea for the last 2 pre-season games (at least 60 mins). The starting players players need to get used to each other and gel as a unit a bit more. He surely must know his starting 11 by now (barring new signings) given that I think most of us could make a fair stab at it going off performances to date in pre-season.

Mine would have insisted that Pogba shave his head so that his hair colour can’t distract from the football, and I would also have insisted that Ole trash the board at his next press conference, so that we get what we need before the start of the season.

Yours is pretty good, I’ll admit.

That's a decent shout although Alex always seemed to play for his dad.
The time I'm thinking it was most possible was when Steve left hull for villa, Alex would still be at hull and both teams were in the same league. Unless I'm mistaken

I dont think we'll see a lot of Greenwood, Gomes or Chong at the start of the season and they've been mainstays for a lot of the pre-season. I still think he'll end up playing Matic, Lingard, Mata and Sanchez for the first few games. I think he'll want to protect the younger lads from criticism if it goes tits at the start. Could you imagine the melt down if we played the young lads and got spanked by Chelsea first game of the season with their new manager bounce.

Closest they got was Alex being on the bench for Wigan against villa in August 2018. I'll stop going off topic now, that just bugged me

Been traveling through Norway on 12-23th of July. Drove from Oslo to Bergen, up to Alesund, and back to Oslo.

Just shocked by Norway’s beauty! No words.

Very sensibly organized society and down to earth people. Now, I see why Norway tops world happiness rankin:)) Ole fits a Norwegian stereotype in my head perfectly now :D

I think, Kristiansund trip is perfect addition to pre season tour for both players and manager. I’m happy for Ole. He brought legendary club to small town where he was born and raised.

Players surely (guaranteed!) are going to be stunned and inspired by Norway and have more connection to the gaffer.

P.S. Oslo is fantastic city but, in my view, is least impressing part of Norway. Not because it’s bad. However, When I saw United banner on the last day of my stay (Scandinavian United Supporters office), I was really touched. It made my trip just perfect. Thanks, Norway.

That’s my neck of the woods.

Alabama but always Wales in my heart
Would Solskjaer's son be in line to play in any other friendly for them? Find it very cringey and oh so modern football if not.
Quite probably, he had been playing in their B Team but has been training with the senior squad lately so it is a little bit like us playing Garner in a game with multiple subs allowed so that we can get a look at him.

How often does a manager have a son on the opposition side?

Must have happened with Harry and Jamie Redknapp. Anyone else?
Gourcuff against Gourcuff.
