I cannot see that basic wages are an issue on this deal, I'm just not buying into that theory.
Dybala is a World Class talent and the figures that I heard would be the sort of numbers I'd expect to be paying for a player of this calibre.
It's less than Pogba, and less than De Gea are on, (or will be on with their new contracts) and certainly far less than Sanchez..!
Bear in mind that Lukaku is also on £200k per week, and I really can't see that Dybala wages would have been so much of an outrageous issue.
Blimey, we were paying £300k to Rooney 5 years ago..!
Basically what I am saying is that if Dybala really wanted to play for United, we would have been able to meet the wage demands without too much trouble, an answer would have been found.
Bottom line, Dybala just didn't fancy the move.
