I swear every other race it’s Binotto on the board radio talking about ‘Plan D’ or ‘Plan C’ when they’re only 15 laps into the race. Ferrari never fails to make me laugh, it’s always so chaotic and weird with them

he's 3.3 behind himDont agree that Leclerc should shut up, he'd clearly been told to give Vettel a tow and not try to defend from Lewis and that he'd be given the place back if Vettel got by. Vettel might not have needed it but Leclerc wasnt defending, you'd expect to see him move to the inside, break the tow.
AH yes , I was reading the timings wrong.
If he is going to expect a swap he at least needs to keep up and lose Hamilton. He can't expect Seb to slow down and put himself in Hamilton's DRS range.

I do that all the time. He's closing though. Leclerc needs to pull his finger out if there's gonna be any swapping later.

When they first asked for the swap, I'm pretty certain he had a few seconds on Hamilton who was coasting, both Ferrari's had scampered away after the safety car. Vettel delayed, Mercedes told Hamilton to give everything to get within DRS range and the chance was lost.
When he first asked about it he was already almost 2 seconds behind Vettel; if Vettel had slowed enough to engineer a swap Hamilton would have absolutely been right on Vettel as a result.
So leclerc did what team told him to do and yet he is the one spoilt? To be fair, vettel has been faster on race pace so would be retarded to do the swap now.

Not necessarily, Hamilton was a few seconds behind Leclerc and wasn't pushing and drivers have slowed by that to let drivers through before.

I agree that they should swap in the pits but I can totally understand why would he be pissed if this was discussed beforehand.

Yeah but seems like leclerc didnt defend which he would have otherwise. Maybe vettel would have overtaken him anyway but can understand his perspective.
