Serious fecking questions needs to be asked of our physio/ conditioning coaches. Over the past 2 years we've had close to a full strength team probably a dozen times.

Awful news with the fixtures we have coming up and Ighalo not being in great shape. Bruno will be crucial for us scoring goals the next few weeks.
RMC(French sports channel) with a more optimistic outlook.

This means at least a month out. Everytime Ole has said hopefully not to bad the payers have gone on to miss weeks if not months.

It's mad isn't it. It goes back years. There seemed to be annual defensive crisis' even under Fergie. Us and Arsenal seem to have barebones squads for spells during the season every year, whilst the other top sides seem to pick the same 11 - give or take 1 or 2 - every week.

Hope it’s nothing serious. It’s the bloody last thing we need, especially with Rashford out.

Or the coaching staff and the training they put the players through and their management on injuries. We’ve seen in the past few weeks they’ve been content to play Rashford with a back injury.

This has been going on for ages. Carrington must have been built over some sacred graveyard. Sick to death of it

The moment he scores consistently he gets injured.

Imagine if we didnt get Ighalo in.

Ah well, I guess Ole can really prove himself getting top 4 now...

Serious introspection required, medical and physio staff needs to be fired and replaced. It is almost a pattern now, can't really be coincidence.

Hopefully it's just the niggle that RMC are saying. I will be raging if it's long term.

When you compare how Liverpool manage to play with a virtually full strength team week in, week out then the finger has to be pointed to our physios and medical staff.

An injury to Martial now felt very predictable. Are we cursed?

I don’t get the idea of people wanting a medical department to be fired because a player gets injured. Like, where is the link?

The amount of injuries we pick up isn't usual. The medical department should be having a say on how we warm up, warm down, stretching sessions etc in order to prevent these types of injuries.

Ah, you seem to have it very much figured out then. We do not know how to warm up and down properly.

What about Chelsea’s injuries? Spurs? Footballers will always get injured. Once you accept that as fact, it is very difficult to start drawing a line somewhere between what is part of the game and should be attributed to the club’s medical team.

Hope it's nothing major. If he is out for a few mo tha I'm going to be pissed! These injuries are insane.

The amount of injuries we get isn't at a normal level though when you compare to other clubs of similar size and stature. This over a prelonged period as well.

I agree, our luck is worse than theirs.

He said it was a knock so most likely a dead leg or something other than a pulled muscle/tear. Saying this I had a dead leg that lasted 3 weeks and could barley walk on the thing.

I am not bolding my breath. Last time Martial was out for quite a while and Ole his communication to the fans about the lenght of the injury wasnt the most informing... i even kept Martial in my fantasy team because of that lack of info. :(

Hopefully he will be back soon. Rashford and Martial are the only two quality forwards so having both injured isnt good at all.

I knew it. As soon as he scored his 3rd goal in as many games, I said to myself watch him get injured now. Any time one of our players is starting to build up some form, they get injured. Watch Bruno getting injured soon.

Do some people even know what an injury probe player is ? Martial isn't one. Beside that one very bad injury at the start of the season which could happen to anyone(This season alone Pogba, Rashford, Scott have gone out due to bad injuries), Martial hasn't had many injuries this season.

He's had a knock, tight muscle injury which had him miss one game(against Tottenham) but mostly fit throughout the season so far. I'd wait to see the verdict on this injury but I wouldn't be surprised if it was just a slight muscle problem which only makes him miss a game or 2.

"Injury prone" by definition means someone who is frequently injured or often sustains injuries.

According to the stats on Transfermarkt, Martial has been injured/ill 12 times since 16/17, resulting in varying lengths of lay-off.

As opposed to Rashford's 5, Pogba's 6, Lingard's 3, Mata's 2, etc.
