So Raiola's talked a ton about a bunch of different topics, not just Ibra & Pogba.

And it looks like Romano put half of my work to waste.

Translations on other topics:
[Milan & Ibra still in negotiations; Ibra hasn't joined Milan's squad yet. There's some optimism because Ibra hasn't pulled out.]
Elliott [AC Milan owners] must make very specific, different choices. He knows how to do it in the financial field, he must learn to do it also in the sports side. We are in a sensitive moment of the negotiation so I don't want to say anything else. If I remain optimistic? We must always be optimistic, I don't work to create problems but to find a solution.

[On Bonaventura, who recently left Milan]
We are evaluating various solutions, we are very close to an agreement with two teams. I hope that in a couple of days we will close.

[On Bernardeschi]
He is aware of what he wants to do. I like it because we talked for a long time and I saw a guy who didn't sit down. His career he is not at an end point but a beginning point. I think he is a Juventus player, but if there are better conditions - for him or for Juventus - we will evaluate. However, I believe the club is still betting on him, regardless of the context new like that of Pirlo.

[On Balotelli]
It all started well, then there were these misunderstandings with Cellino. I get in the way too, I don't hold back. We have chose the path of silence, the whole world already has its own opinion on Mario. It must be changed with the facts. Covid certainly did not help us. But now we are talking to various teams to restart. Certainly he is not finished: and of attackers like him, football needs "like water". Even in Italy it can have a market, we are talking with one or two teams.

[On Donyell Malen]
There are talents to bring to Italy, there are incredible ones abroad. Malen from PSV might one day arrive here. Today it is difficult for the club to sell him and another society may have the strength to snatch it from him.

[On the transfer market]
I think that for all the clubs the really interesting session will be that of January. Given the current context, I would not have made the transfer in this summer. With the breaks of the national teams, only three months to settle in for the new players and then a transfer market again in January ... I would have opened the transfer market for a week or I would have closed it completely.

Raiola fighting with Milan it seems - suddenly pulling Ibra's signature that seemed set in stone last week and holding Donnarumma's renewal ransom as well. Was an infection that man is on the game - I'd love to see all the big clubs come together to kick him out for good.

Raiola is going to become the first billion dollar football agent at this rate, seems he has every young promising talent and star of the future signed up with him . He's like the European Scott Boras

I get the appeal though from the players side, he's shown he's willing to do anything it takes to get what his clients, and himself by default, wants and they usually get it. Would love to have him at my side when I ask for a promotion at work

He's got some way to reach the levels that both Jorge Mendes and Kia Joorabchian have reached. Unlike Mino, both Mendes and Kia have their own agencies where they represent numerous players.

He was close to signing for a club in Portugal last week I think. Wouldn’t read anything into links to us. Probably being used to push the deal through, aka twitter bullshit.

Cavani would be a clever short term signing, a high class Ighalo if you will. Hard working and adaptable across the front line.

Cavani to Benfica has reportedly been pretty much been a done deal almost for a few weeks now, wouldn't put much if anything in reports of him signing elsewhere

True but it seems as though Mendes is the go to superagent mainly for Iberian based talent while Raiola and Joorabachian have their hands on talent from a bit of everywhere

Benfica withdrew from trying to sign Cavani. Papers linking him to use because we were linked in previous years. Nothing in it.

He's probably just the loudest of the bunch.

It looks like Thiago Silva is now a very strong possibility.

Should be interesting today. If he plays well our supporters will be over the moon to be getting him on a free for a year or two. We'll be getting bantered like crazy if he gets skinned by Bayern.

I suppose if we’re after squad depth Cavani would be decent on a free but I don’t think anything in those links.

Probably true, but it comes with the territory of being a football fan I guess.

If Sancho signs the news will likely come out of nowhere. The minute stones and the other more credible journalists around the club start tweeting about the deal being off, that is the moment the negotiations would have hit a dead end due to the briefs

No news is good news

Raiola way of talking is misinterpreted here. He confirmed Pogba to stay this season, but the contract extension is no where close to be done, knowing Raiola. Just see Zlatan-Milan part from same interview.

Exactly, and he talked about there being no rush either as both sides are relaxed about the situation, just like Ibra-Milan, interestingly. Let's see if that tone remains once the negotiations start.

Despite his age Thiago Silva looked immaculate in the CL, playing like that every week is a different gravy of course. Wish we went for him. Would have been a very clever short term signing.
