The three would cost a lot more than €120m. First two would cost at least half that while Villa want £80m for Grealish.
Not much more really.

40 for vdb
27 for thiago
70ish for Grealish?

17 million more isn't a lot when we're talking over 100 million. Especially for 3 players.

Would take those 3 over him if I'm honest.

100%. When it was announced falsely recently that we signed some Serbian 17 years old winger, he tweeted soon after to say it was all but done. Few hours later was revealed as fake news
See now on Van de beek too. As soon as the news broke out among Dutch journo, he is posting about it as if he knows it all.

A summary of the current Messi situation:

It seems like City are the most likely club to get him after all, but Barcelona will make sure that they're compensated for the transfer.

Would rather spend extra 30m and get Sancho over Grealish. Then it would be perfect.

With his insane wages, and now transfer fee will actually make it next to impossible for any club bar the Oil funded ones. So no surprise City is the most likely club. There will be lot of "Barca" fans suddenly becoming City fans now.

Whilst there was a bunch of news going around linking us to van de Beek, the player's agent suggested that Spurs might have been approaching him.

Original source

Keep in mind that this was Romano's Tweet that van de Beek agreed personal terms with us.

Looks like former Inter left back Yuto Nagatomo might be going to Marseille after his stint at Galatasaray.

Translation:
Yuri (sp) Nagatomo arrives for free at OM! He will arrive this evening at Marseille. He will have his medical tomorrow and commit to 1 year. He'll become Jordan Amavi's understudy.

@SilentWitness @BigDunc9 Allan's agent denies that the deal's coming to a conclusion despite negotiations going fine so far.

Quote
We are still in Pozzuoli and I don’t know why this news of medical visits in England spread. Everton? Of course we are at a good point, but there’s not even an agreement with the player yet.

EDIT: Looks like Allan's agent is waiting for a slice of the pie.

Maybe people will stop thinking that United are totally inept and actually be happy for once?

Or are we still going to keep banging that drum?

Well happy the VDB signing and hope it’s one of many!

AC Milan's Stefano Pioli hints at more signings to strengthen the squad.

Quotes:
I certainly preferred the experience from the last months. I know the team and this is an advantage that we must take advantage of. I know that the players can give a lot, and they know what I want. It was a unique summer, we had little time to prepare for the new season and we must take the best advantage of the time available to us.

There's great harmony with the management. We are all working to try and have clear ideas, we know where the team can improve. The club is trying to strengthen the roster. The market will unfortunately be long, but when we are sharing our intentions, we can work toward our best. It's important to have as many starters as possible, not only 12 or 13, but 17 to 18. It'll be important if we arrive at the group stage and for the rest of the season to have a complete roster. This will be a busy season and it's natural to want strong players and raise the squad's level.

Ah, yes, Inter dithered on him as Conte would rather have older, more physical midfielders over a playmaker. I guess they'll have to continue relying on Brozovic on linking the whole team together.

As for Tonali, he's going to face stiff competition from Bennacer. I doubt that he'll go into the starting lineup easily. The only way I can see this working is if AC Milan play diamond with Tonali being the deep-lying playmaker a la Pirlo.

Yo, Benevento are making moves in the transfer market!

Earlier:

Two good players potentially coming into their team; they are trying hard to get the players to survive in the top flight.

Yea, this one has been very smooth, congrats to United.

Who would have guessed that deals move quick when you offer exactly what the other club is asking?

The other benefit for them is that there are no other clubs to compete against. Real Madrid have backed off after their finances took a hit, and Zidane would rather make use of Ceballos or Odegaard for next season. Barcelona were never in contention despite what some would say. This is the kind of transfer that big clubs typically make in order to improve their squads.

The only way this can go wrong now is if another club comes in at the last second with an improved bid.

This says Pounds, others say it is 40 million Euros.

Cracking deal if this is done for 40.million euros. Wasn't Fred over 50?

Romano says 40 million Euros as the bid. Verweij reported a cumulative fee (bonuses included) of 45 million Euros. Looks like James Robson is reporting the latter figure.

Looks like Juve will sign one of Chelsea's promising players. How do the Chelsea fans feel about this? @Spiersey @duffer @Kentonio @Theafonis
We lose one or two promising young players most seasons, it's the nature of the beast. We signed Gilmour from Rangers in the same way so it's swings and roundabouts.

Liverpool nicked Brewster and Solanke from us a few years ago, it happens.

That's fair. I was wondering about his ability. I didn't know too much about him, so I was wondering about how much of a loss he could be.

Can't believe we've come to a stage where 40m is a bargain. This has still got to be in the top 30 most expensive transfers of all time, no?

Looks like Arsenal will make it difficult for Emi Martinez to leave the club. Despite Villa and Leeds's interest, they don't want him to go.

That is quite 'cheap' to be honest. He is a good player and versatile. Bielsa looking for some good Argentinians
Last season was the first time in a while that he had a very good season. To be fair, though, he was slowly improving at Udinese for the past few years. The fact that he didn't live up to his early hype, however, has cooled down much of the interest most football clubs had in him.

He's 16 so very difficult to say how much of a loss. Lots of Chelsea fans were gutten to lose Dom Solanke to Liverpool but that didn't end up too devastating.
