He's got us by the balls. If we sell him then we'll have to sell him on cheap. Juve/Real will probably expect us to accept a ridiculous fee + 1 or 2 deadwood of theirs for him. If he remains then he will play crap/"get injured" up until he leaves on a free. We shouldn't sign any player whose got that evil gnome as an agent ever again.
He really doesnt though, if we dont cooperate about the sale Pogba will be 1,5 years older, and if we dont play him he will be woefully out of form + not able to showcase himself.

Takes a load off for me, was more worried he'd stay and get an improved contract and be another Rooney, earning top wages while on the downward.

Must have been much easier to have things his way before guys like Bruno and Cavani turned up, a real lesson about having the right character in senior players in the dressing room.

I remember people here saying we should get a 100 mil. for him, some fantasizing more

We will be lucky if we get anything and at this point I'd let go for free just to air out the room of all the toxicity he is leaving behind.

Players like him are why managers get the sack, too expensive to offload, good physical or technical attributes of a player but a shit attitude which is leaving room for those who "know better than the manager" to take a swing at him whenever a player like that scores when he leaves or does anything he is paid to do.

We had way too many Pogba fans defending him among the fans and that has contributed to this situation that should have been resolved as soon as Ole had his first transfer window opened and a chance to offload. But no, people think we can earn big money on him!

I followed Mino long enough to know that he doesn't give a feck. A 28 year old Pogba would still be demanding crazy money in terms of signing on fee + salary especially since there won't be any fee involved. My greatest fear is that Mino had already sealed a hush hush deal with Juventus. Those sneaky bastards just love to pull a fast one.

Pogba isn’t to blame though, it’s his agent saying these things! It’s totally out of his hands!
You are still defending Pogba?! You know he can sack his agent whenver he wants? He'd have dozens of decent agents all lining up and if they have any integrity they'd tell him to buckle down and do some work in his job if he wants to revive his career. The path he is heading sees him out of french national team in couple of years.

I just cant see who will buy him if we want 90 mill which is his fair value. Except maybe PSG. I can only assume this is a ploy so that United accept a low ball offer in Jan. 50 mill or something. I wish we would leave him in the reserves for 2 years but it will never happen. Its a disgrace that he is in the match squad never mind getting games.
Fair value of 90m? If roles were reversed, and we were looking to buy a 27 year old Paul Pogba who has been massively underperforming for a majority of 4 years, will demand massive wages, and in the last 12-18 months of his contract - would you be okay with United paying 90m? I wouldn't.

At this point, we take what we can get for him. I reckon 30-40m GBP is what we will get for him - because at that valuation we might get a club or two to bite.

We should take whatever we get and put it towards getting a long term striker / defensive midfielder / centre back.

Raiola maybe, but do you think Pogba will be happy playing supersub for 1,5 year more, while running the risk of getting some injury or falling behind in terms of attractivness for other clubs?

Its a huge gamble to take.

There is a shift in fan mood. We have had enough of Pogba and Raiola, this time I dont think anyone cares, just get rid. We have seen it since January, this team can improve without Pogba.

At least we won't have to keep thinking of how to fit Pobga in a team.

I think its evident on the Sanchez deal that You don't keep a player on such salary rotting in the reserves. It's added pressure on the manager + the first teamers who are actually working for a living won't like it

I thought it was more Sanchez wanting to play rather than the others being pissed off at what you described. I'm not saying you're completely wrong, just to be clear

Yep. We are not reliant on him anymore. He was never consistent enough anyway.

He had the odd Hollywood game (or half), other than that he's been average.

Mino whines about Pogba every 3 months. No gives a feck anymore. You'd think he's the best midfielder in the league with that attitude not getting benched by Scott and Fred.

Raiola and Pogba have no cards left to play. It's in their best interest to let Pogba leave ASAP.

Let Raiola spit his poison. He looks like a bigger fool each time.

Anyone that thinks Raiola is peddling this narrative without the say-so of Pogba is utterly deluded.

Raiola works for Pogba. Not the other way around. If this was all Raiola, Pogba would have called him up on it on any one of the last half a dozen occasions he's massively disrespected the club.

I'd love for the club to send a message and put him in the reserves away from the first team for the remainder of the season. Put his EURO hopes on the line. He's treated this club with nothing but contempt from start to finish, I'll be glad to see the back of him. We won't miss him. What soon to be 28 year old still hasn't figured out their best position on a football pitch?

Also, someone had better tell Fernandes that this team isn’t sufficiently good for anyone to do consistently well over a long period of time. As soon as we buy another 14 or 15 world class players he might get the odd goal or assist.

Yep, he wants to play the Bruno role apparently..

I cannot see Pogba making runs in behind the defenders like Bruno does. I cannot see him carrying a team like Bruno can. I don't see the leadership.

Bruno excels in that role because he leads by example, when he is on the pitch players step up a level.

That influence is something Pogba lacks.

I think some players are born to be leaders. Bruno is that kinda player, Pogba definitely isn't. He tried to, the club tried to put him in that position of leadership but ultimately how you perform is the deciding factor.

Now the dust has settled a bit since yesterday, and my anger towards Riola has dampened down. I’m actually delighted that he’s come out as said this. It has made PP’s position at the cub almost untenable and he has to go.
The downside is we probable will take a huge hit on a player who, when on his game, is one of the best.
We don’t need PP anymore. I’m sick of saying how easy our MF is to play against when he plays deeper, so to exchange/cash in on a player that offers us so little yet worth so much makes a lot of sense.
I’m not gutted about losing PP but the thing that hurts is how he and his agent have used the club and treated us like fools.
I hope Ole doesn’t even put him on the bench for the rest of the month.

Exactly, every season we go into it hoping Pogba will perform, every season he doesnt. I really hope we can get rid of him in January.

We had a mini revolt the moment it became evident that Sanchez would be squad player at best. First team players don't like being paid less then bench warmers

Pogba's first social media post since Raiola's comments became public.

Come on mate, let's not fill this thread with bullshit. If you look at his story he posted a training pic collage with Fred, Rojo and Telles before this post.

According to the Athletic, Raiola " killed all positivity" before tonight's game.

Regardless, the point remains that his agent has announced to the world some pretty serious statements about his future at the club and the only thing he has the balls to do is post about haircuts in the immediate aftermath.

Eager for this to be over and excited to see who we replace him with. I hope he moves in January but I think we will be stuck with him until the summer.

Should have told him to condemn his agent’s comments or rot on the bench for the rest of the season.

These outbursts are more consistent than his performances on the pitch. He is a fantastically talented player and love watching him when he is on it but it just doesn't worth it anymore.

Maybe we could swap for a couple of suitable players rather than haggling over what cash we could get for him

You're right, I just wanted to say that Sanchez leaving had more to do with Sanchez wanting to play more than the reaction of his teammates.

Surely he can't be playing tonight? It's outright disrespectful what his agent has done... if anyone wants to say he can't control Raiola, you're wrong. Raiola is Pogba's agent and mouthpiece... it's not the first time he has spoken out of turn.

This has created tensions and talking points ahead of a huge week for the club this season... it's a disgrace. If Fergie was here does anyone really think Pogba would be anywhere near the team? He'd probably have sent Pogba home.

Anyone think he’s trying to get yet another pay rise/new contract on the back of that goal? “Look, see what you will miss if Paul goes?”

Been the biggest disappointment for me of the last 20 years. He came in with such hype. Should have bloody known
Im not sure if Im more pissed off by just how shit he has been, the constant shit from his gobshite agent and brother, or the fact you can bet every last penny you have that pogba is wallowing, and felling all "woe is me, im so great and have been treated like crap, Waaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh"
