Here he’s trying to show in two games that he’s due a fast promotion, and then one player scores four in the first and another scores a hat trick in the second ... poor Amad.
He set up all of Shola's goals by the way and could have scored 2 more himself...poor lad ;)

Is he at a much higher level than the other youngsters in our U23s?

I would say he's the furthest along in that u23s team tonight by far, but there are a couple of very highly rated lads in the team who could possibly end up better players.

That said, he's got the X factor that you need to be a starting winger for United.

The amount of qualities he displayed, technically and mentally was brilliant, watching as a fan in numerous situations you are thinking "have a go yourself" but he just seemed to gather himself and pick out the correct option with perfect execution and then the technique for his goal was wonderful and effortless.

Shot himself in the foot there. Now Shola is going to get his place on the RW (seeing as we don’t use RWs on RW anyway).
Shola doesn't play wing though. He's a playmaker. A better comparison would be the role that Angel Gomes used to take up. All Shola's goals came from running through the middle onto passes from Amad who did play RW.
Hannibal and Shola destroyed their midfield

He should make the bench soon. Excited to see him play in the first team, he is ready to be involved.

Amad is a genius footballing brain - Messi with pace. He seems like the polar opposite of Greenwood. Amad would rather pass than shoot while Greenwood would do vice versa. The "taking the piss" with Mejbri leading to a shot on goal for Levitt was his best moment. If Amad/Mejbri/Shoretire make it to the first team looking even half of how good they looked today, we have a nailed on FIFA Team of the Year player in Amad.

yeah it’s already a good team in attack for sure but he’s lifted them another level and stands out a mile. involved in 6 goals in the last 2 games I think and Blackburn are the league leaders. it would be a shame for him to pick up an injury or something in the under 23s where the tackling and refereeing can be rough and the standard is too easy for him. He’d be playing first team rotation for Parma this year if we hadn’t come in for him so if we aren’t going to play him enough to develop then he will need a loan next year. I’m sure he’ll be with the first team soon and won’t be going anywhere. He genuinely looks potentially world class and I really don’t say that lightly. We’ve found a gem.

would he put money on any of the players he listed making there first team debut before Diallo? Don’t know why he’s arguing Diallo is in the first team squad. Playing for fitness. I don’t think he likes talented players anyway, he likes workrate

I love work rate too. It’s too low a level of football for anything only fitness if you’ve already played in the champions league. The manager is just trying to keep expectations down and let him get settled in the city. No hassle. Everything about his performances here and his body of work before he came here says first team rotation and he looks to have the potential to be anything really.

Stop sitting on the fence, do you like the kid or not?!!

Just saw the highlights. Stunning technique, composure and decision making. That moment when he paused and passed instead of instinctive shooting! He has brains.

He's going all in!

I’m excited to see how he takes to senior football. Surely he can’t be this direct and talented that those moves and level of productivity carry through to mens football. There has to be a drop off and some flaws to his game to improve on but we won’t know until he’s tested. Rashford and Greenwood skipped reserves and they did pretty ok for themselves. Seriously impressed so far.

Yip, looked really good tonight, as did others.

An attacking line up of Shoretire, Amad, Mejbri and Hugill... full of goals. Can they kick on to the next level, hope they can (save us a fortune).

Amad at RW, Mejbri the eventual Paul Pogba replacement.

He plays like Nani...don't know why people haven't caught unto it. Quick combinations to release himself, short direct drives on the flanks, the ability to stop immediately on a drive....very similar.

he is very similar. Nani had a better shot with both feet but I think Amad has a better football brain. I’m a massive Nani fan btw.

So he’s gone from being called Traore to Diallo to Amad now?

Is this going to be like Hernandez where he’s Amad in-house and Diallo to everyone else? (Chicharito and Hernandez)

So some of the choices he made today in terms of when to pass were top notch. First time I’ve really seen him and I’m impressed. Just loved that he was even passing in those situations instead of just lashing a pointless shot at goal. Some of the control and touches were fantastic. That little bit of keep ball with Hannibal who also looks a damn good player was sublime. Want and need to see more but if that’s the type of smart decision making he will bring to the first team then Sancho who?

I know Shola doesn’t play wing, or at least particularily not right wing. Which is why I expect us to put him there ;)

If he has Amad in the back of his shirt and commentators call him Amad then he’ll probably be known by the general footballing public as Amad.

He’s ready for 20 mins against West Ham

I don't see how anyone can disagree with this.

There maybe other factors that mean he doesn't get the game time yet but in terms of just football he is clearly too good for that level.

I hear he's asked to be known as Amad. Which is fine. He'll be El Diablo in our hearts anyway. Surely the bench against West Ham?
