I have been criticising him for his poor performances for a long time now and I have said he obviously lacks confidence and it shows. It is very clear. No, I haven't. Again, I'm making a comment on the constant victimhood of fans who believe they are entitled to treat players like shit and heckle them, but then get all pissy when the players say something back. That's why, in my original comment, I was talking about the abuse they receive both on social media and at the stadium. The incident above is merely one example. What gives him the right to heckle a player, but then play the victim afterward. Same for any fan who goes out of their way to talk shit. And the guy literally makes a comment about "how could you treat a fan like this who pays to watch you", etc. So I'm not making anything up. These things happen.

It's also doubly depressing that it's happening to "one of our own", for lack of a better phrase.

I have no time for Rashford and his attitude on the pitch but I can't help but feel some of the animosity towards him stems from cynical people who have a miatrust of his charity and see his campaign as some sort of pr. People can't seem to seprate the two which is a massive mstake.
