Of course, Arsenal don't spend £150M & no-one else spends anything though. I think that's forgotten on here. We spent £20M more than Utd, and £40M more than City & Chelsea, who already have billion pound squads.
This is relevant when we discuss relative merit, such as league position. But it's not so relevant when it comes to goals for, goals against, actual points tally, etc.

If your at a big club longer than 1 season you will have spent hundreds of millions nowadays.

And I fear every other manager apart from Pep & Klopp will be an also ran while there here.
perhaps. But theres also ran and finishing in the champions league places etc and then theres just being a mid table side isnt there?

They celebrated too early. Which game was it recently they won and all the arse players (and teta) were hugging and high giving each other, celebrating like they won the league.

True. Next year 1 of Tuchel, Ten Hag, Klopp, Pep or Conte will finish out top 4 as well.
Difficult when you put it like that.

small mentality there. Bit like when kalvin phillips kissed his silver medal at the euros. Or when arsenal got taken to penalties in the cup semi by league 1 wigan then had a huge hysterical party when they won the shootout rather than quickly get off the pitch

Wolves.

Ramsdale celebrated in front of Neves & their manager I think because he earlier passed some comment about arsenal celebrations are too much.

So you are saying that sacking your managers hasn't made a difference really. :wenger:
For spurs maybe it has but for United it hasn't. The moment we appointed an interim guy we just let everyone know this season is going to be a write off. I tell you United have been really bad this season and in my lifetime this has been the worst I have seen us, even worse than the dreaded Moyes' season. This is why I say we should be nowhere near you or Spurs. If you guys somehow manage to finish below us, trust me that should be a sackable offense itself.

You have been poor, but quality wise your squad is still better than ours, with more match winners, like Ronaldo who has probably won a third of your points on his own.

It's not a good place mind you, who has had the worst season / who should be most embarrassed. :(

Thank you for asking, it’s about time you lot started seeking out my vast football knowledge and general wisdom.

They’ve had a collapse and missing a few of their first teamers has exposed the fragility of their understudies. Let’s see how the rest of the season plays out.

To be honest, it's not new. We had a shit start to the season when we had a few players out, are having a shit spell with a few players out, & got put out the FA Cup when he rested players.

Think that's good evidence to suggest the squad options are shit. Lots of work for them still to do.

Chelsea tonight and then an absolutely awful team at the weekend.

If they lose to Chelsea they'll be down in the dumps and should they lose at the weekend to an amateur side then serious questions will need to be asked of him after 3 seasons

Will probably be a proper bumfight this weekend, 2 teams low in quality & confidence, scrapping it out to see who stumbles into 5th.

A team that can't score vs a team that can't defend.

Arteta would actually look perfect for this United side. Huge ego like our players but little substance.

Hey, if you want a clear out, Arteta & Edu are your guys!

Then you can hire a competent coach. Actually, perhaps that's our plan? :smirk:

Even better, take half of our players and you can keep arteta edu. You can also have Mark Goldridge as a replacement for DT :p

Come to think of it, not sure i'd take half of your players. DDG, Pogba, Sancho and Elanga would be welcome here if wages were not an issue. We might find a spot for that Ronaldo guy too

Don't, we probably would look to do that. I'm still having nightmares about Mikael Silvestre!

Glad that stop the losing streak. Will see where the team ends end of the season.

Another one that many people on here got wrong beside me. Arteta is doing a fantastic job. In fact, the blueprint he is using at Arsenal is the one that ETH should follow at United. Despite having the worst squad of the top four contender baring west ham, he is in a good position to get a champion league place if he wins this game.

Scholes just called him a disgrace for influencing the ref and also getting the players and the crowd to influence him.

Everyone laughed at Tim Cahill but I think he was right about him. His philosophy is good. Whether he has the other minerals to succeed is yet to be seen but I think he’s probably the best of the recent ex-player managers in the league (Lampard, gerrard, Ole etc.)

Admittedly I don't watch alot of arsenal but they don't seem too dissimilar to us when I have seen them. Shambles defensively, decent on the counter and rely on individuals. He irritating as fcuk on the sidelines as well
