Frustrating. Had spurs of incredible form and performances, just to falter in the most important moments or he just got injured. All went downhill after his first injury under Jose.
Honestly I think our failure is more about bad buys. McTominay is the poor kid from the reserves who has to start thanks to the big signings failing (or in this case or inexplicable unwillingness to buy a holding midfielder).Yep like this post below:
That will be the symbol of our mediocrity... not giving Scott McTominay 118 first-team appearances in 3 seasons.
At what point in the last 6 years did he demonstrate he was world class? Bruno, Ronaldo et el proved that it’s possible to be world class yet Pogba can’t?
feck off with that shit.
perhaps Paul should go back to working on the basics of football first before running he or his agents mouth
If he was world class he would've demonstrated it at an individual level while here.
Get out
He scored the opener in the Europa Legua final. The last trophy United won. That's some take
Couldn't have put it better myself! He is the "Anti-Robson" a polar opposite to Captain Marvel. Both suffered from injuries, but with Robson they came from herculean effort and dragging a whole team upto his own heights.
Jogba's injuries have come from a number of things, but effort isn't one of them.
Robbo had impeccable timing and knew when to bomb forward and when to keep a clean house and protect his less than perfect back four.
Pogba saved his best timing for his agent releasing stories about his contractual situation or for updates on his fashion / holiday / status.
Robbo led by example on the pitch, even though he was by no means a saint off it. He would play out of position to protect his team mates and would be happy to get physical if needed.
Jogba talks a good game in the dressing room but disappears on the pitch. His religious piety is admirable but he lacks the gumption to do the dirty work for the team.
Few players stand upto comparison with Robbo, but I've never known us have a key player so far away from his model of a midfielder.
A humble, hard-working professional that even if he was off-form would cover every blade of grass to help the team. Someone totally driven to being the best they could be to help the team achieve its goals. Never flash, respectful off field, and just always let his football do the talking.
My only regret is we never really saw him express his personality and have fun out on the pitch, would have loved to see him let loose and do a crazy goal celebration.
Surprised he's leaving to be honest as he's never mentioned being unhappy, not so much as a mention through his agent. I guess that's just how he was.
The post that you quoted was sarcasm.

Was it. I can't tell anymore since every compliment made about this club or players right now is straw clutching. Every person that draws a large paycheck from this club should be utterly ashamed of themselves. cnuts. The post that you quoted to was sarcasm.
We don't deserve him indeedA humble, hard-working professional that even if he was off-form would cover every blade of grass to help the team. That first line sums it up. He’s the symbol of this recent era.Symbolic of all the failures at Manchester United in the last 10 years.
SAF was right we should have never gone back for him.
A player like Verratti / Koke or he'll even Carvalho or Kondogbia would have been better moves in hindsight.
Wouldn’t you say most of those players played in great sides too? When you consider the players Pogba had alongside him at Juve and with France, it would have been hard to fail. IMO United was never the platform for players such as Pogba, we almost always expect too much of any individual who pulls on a United shirt; sometimes with people like Best, Law, Charlton, Robson, Keane, Scholes, Cantona, and of course CR, then we almost reach the perfection we seek.
IMO, Paul was always the 'cherry on top' of the cake, never in the cake mix itself, especially when the 'mix' was failing to rise, Paul was never the 'yeast factor' needed to ferment!

Yes they did and contributed significantly and consistently, they were definitely part of the 'mix' and each could be counted on to step up when things were not going well.Wouldn’t you say most of those players played in great sides too?
What are the actual numbers on pogba?
