For all those who was moaning about the world cup taking place in the winter. If anything it will be to our benefit to do our business in a World cup free summer, otherwise we would hear the same line (the player wants to wait after the world cup to decide) It would certainly mean many comes after the world cup and it will heavily affect pre season and Erik's work with the team.

He was internet favorite choice so he will get chance this season. Most fans understand now that this team needs complete binning and will take time. ETH will be given some slack this season ( or atleast i hope he gets that).
ten Hag will drop one of their favourite players or play an unpopular one and he'll be public enemy #1 on United twitter in no time.

Do we have any favourite player anymore? I cant think of one who i would want to retain from this team. Internet has been quite vocal against our squad this season

Forward. He was supposed to start united 1 July. Big change from Moyes.
I have a vague recollection of this, but Moyes decided to take a holiday despite taking on the biggest job of his career and biggest job in football, right? What a contrast if so.

Hopefully this is to ratify and confirm what the recruitment team have got lined up so far and what he wants pursued in what order.

Also to who he says they should go after from his current team now that the title is bagged

this is a guy who is all about football and I hope they give him the opportunity to do what he needs to do with the personnel in the squad ....guys like this who obsess over football are the type of managers we need at this club and he's got to be fuking ruthless with his decisions

it'll also be up to the fans to back him and his vision of the future

Think this is the one manager we have had post Fergie that almost all of us are backing 100%. There was always a split on backing Moyes, LVG, Mourinho and Solskjaer (latter two even more so probably).

In other words, ‘potential ins and outs’.

I love workaholics. They have passion for their job and what they are doing in their job. Sometime, I tend to question whether LVG, Mourinho, Moyes, and Ole even work over hours.

ffs....not sure how anyone could have wanted Moyes, LVG and to an extent Jose simply b/c you knew by mid way thru year 2 it would implode.

i'm just over the moon that we FINALLY have a guy with some pedigree and a guy that wants to play football and attacking football as well

Ole often spoke about delegating tasks.

This is obviously good news and 100% necessary, but if we're going to kick start the rebuild and get top 4 next season, it'll come from players that are already in the building, i.e Bruno, Shaw, VDB, Sancho, Varane, and even Rashford. The 3-4 players purchased this summer will be crucial, but they won't get off the plane and magically pull us out of this nightmare by themselves. Coaxing the best out of the above players will be absolutely essential for Ten Hag, but I have faith he can do it. He has in the past helped experience players rediscover themselves, all be it in a weaker league.

I hope he can take the team from Ralf for crystal palace game to gain firsthand experience. Ralf is clueless anyway and there is no need for him in charge anymore.

I would just let Murtough take the game to be honest. It surely couldn't be any worse.

They talked about FDJ at the beginning but most of the video is about ten Hag.

I was given to understand Ten Hag is set to start mid-June to early-July. So not going to happen. Besides, starting his tenure here with a thumping by Crystal Palace is hardly the way to go.

This is what I like to hear, two midfielders. We might see Bruno plays wide.
"So you want a mid thirties big name striker to sell shirts and a teenage winger who's almost out of contract. We'll get right on it Boss."

Glad he's getting started from now. I never got the impression that Moyes or LVG were too involved before they officially started the job.

No fullbacks is concerning
I guess it depends on how he sets the team up, don't be surprised to see maybe Lindelof feature as a fullback for example, or if we get Timber to see him feature as a FB. I'm reserving judgement on static "positions" because I know the way Ten Hag plays doesn't necesarilly lend itself to static positions
