I doubt there’s an embargo as it wouldn’t hold if they have the news. An embargo would be minutes at the most. It would be more likely that a protocol has been enacted as her condition is grave, then her death would be treated separately and trigger another load of responses. The announcement of her death is probably quite detached from her actual death too.

It’s not a conspiracy, there’s a whole operation behind announcing such a thing. They don’t have someone run outside and announce it 2 minutes after she’s gone.
BBC has been running live coverage all afternoon, which I can’t see why they would unless there’s an announcement imminent. People can be on their death bed for days, what are they gonna be doing this for days on end? I think chances are she’s already passed and we’re just waiting for official confirmation.
