In Bruno's goal any other player takes a touch and then pass it but he instantly pass and made that goal, the kid is fire

You can see the crowd are starting to buzz when he gets on the ball similar to the other wonder kids we've had down the years.

Should be starting on Sunday for me.

Can’t believe people don’t think he’s supremely talented. I can count on one hand Utd players with his ability to beat people at that age. He glides with the ball at pace and you can’t really teach that.

I actually think we would do well with Sancho/Rashford for 60' and then Garnacho coming as a sub against tired defense.

He is a proper winger. Love him already. Needs to be developed wisely, but he looks like a great weapon already.

On a side note, does he count as coming from our academy seeing as we got him from Atletico for some £400K ?
More like home grown player, he spent 5 years in Atletico's youth academy (age 11 to age 16), similar to Hannibal and Alvaro Fernandez.

I'd say the likes of Rashford and McTominay are the academy products through and through since they are associated with the club from the age of 7 & 5 respectively

Agree with you.

Rashford - Martial - Antony

With Garnacho and Sancho from the bench

Him Rashy and Martial as front 3 for now, has to be.
I agre, but that will (or at least should) mean Garnacho playing on the right, as Utd;s current best attacker Rashford is wasted there.

And while Garnacho has impressed so far on the left he might not be as effective himself on his less favoured and less familiar right hand side.

Super pass for McTominay's goal, good first time pass for Fernandes' goal, exciting run from deep in our half that ended with his shot being blocked.

Very impressive overall.

I'm more impressed with the fact that his dribbling isn't compromised when running at full speed. Ball is glued to his feet.

I'm not really sure how we'd do it but I'd love to see him, Rashford, Martial & Antony all starting.

That was a very good display. We need to give him a nice run of games once we start up again after the WC. He is what we want up front. However do not want to put too much pressure on him, still young.

That terrific marauding run of his that ended up with the shot being blocked reminded me of a young Giggs

Very exciting player. Some excellent decision making too for someone his age.

That really stands out. 100% pass completion tonight. Amazing for a player in his position. Really takes care of the ball, while also constantly posing a threat. That’s a rare ability.
Yep. Such an exciting talent. Hopefully our senior players will take care of him, and his apparent attitude problems won't be a big issue going forward.

Is he in the Argentina squad for WC?
im almost sure he won’t go unless Scaloni has him as his hidden card.

I’d take him though, ala Messi in 2006, although Messi was already destroying teams in the champions league by then.
But I’m afraid he wants to play for his homeland Spain. Hope we could secure him.

Carries the ball better than anyone already. Has shown the ability to go outside and not just cut in all the time. Ten Hag has managed him well and now we need to tie him down on a long contract.
Reckon that's the main thing he has to maintain/work on. Being able to go outside as well as inside. Martial and Rashford both lost that for whatever reason and both can no longer do a fullback with consistency.

Hasn't Garnacho already said he wants to play for Argentina? Wasn't he the star player in the Toulon Tournament for Argentina?

I've never heard of him saying he wants to play for Spain.

The fact that he doesn't play scared at all and is always willing to go at his man but intelligently makes me think we've got a potential gem on our hands

he also trained with Spain before. He’s a kid and his mind can change, culturally he is Spanish and that might make an impact, I’m pretty sure we have him but I would like to make sure we do.

We also have agent Licha stuck to him, he congratulated him for his game at both goal celebrations

Would you put him above Sancho in the pecking order? I think our best front 3 is Antony - Martial - Rashford as it stands, but I'd honestly prefer this kid over Sancho based on his directness.
