Griezmann has turned into a box to box #8 and has been France’s best player in the WC after Mbappe. His ball playing and passing has gotten even better as he’s gotten older. Getting close to him is key to stopping France.
It's a match where Fergie would have deployed Park or Jones to mark him out of the game
The knockout games so far have been terrible and highly predictable.
Big test against France. Only played 1 halve decent team so far and we drew 0-0. People get carried away after beating a bunch of amateur teams. I think with a better manager then this England team can hit new levels. Don’t see it with Southgate.

Isn't that precisely why it's fun? If Iceland or Saudi Arabia had a chant about how they are going to win the tournament I'd find it fun. I definitely wouldn't take it as an affront and get all shirty about how they haven't won anything and all that jazz.
